Here’s a polished and balanced review based on your notes:Great Stay with Plenty of Space and a Beautiful DockWe had a great stay at this rental! The house was exactly as described—spacious and well-equipped, though it only has one bathroom. The exercise equipment was a nice bonus, and the highlight was definitely the beautiful, almost brand-new dock. Our kids loved fishing there every day, and we were lucky to see dolphins and manatees regularly, given the home’s proximity to Tampa Bay.The pool and toys were a fun addition when the weather allowed, and we didn’t mind that it wasn’t heated. We also appreciated the well-stocked supplies, including laundry soap and toilet paper. The beds and mattresses are a bit dated and could use an update, but overall, the house was comfortable. The owners were very responsive and helpful, which made our stay even better.Would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront stay!

Great house and location

Great house and great location! Apollo beach was a nice area with good restaurants close by. We enjoyed the pool and lanai as well as sunset fishing off the private dock with views of Tampa Bay while also watching dolphins and manatees go by. House was well maintained and comfortable for our family.

Poolside fun

We stayed for a week. The pool was a favorite among the children. The house had all the amenities for a family of 4. Bathroom and kitchen are fully equipped. The bay afforded a lot of fun dolphin and manatee watching. I took a star off because of a minor issue, which the owners will resolve. Highly recommend the place. The house had one bathroom which was not an issue for our family of 4, since it was nicely updated and had plenty of towels, and double sinks.

Beautiful Home and Location

This was my second time at this home with my family, and just as the first, it was just as beautiful. The views, being right on the water, a Super Warm pool and nice open floor plan, what more could you ask for? Fishing, boating, etc…. Lovely home.!.!.. A+

Birthday getaway

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for his birthday week. We enjoyed it so much, The house was very nice, had plenty of space for us and more if needed. The pool at the house was amazing, that is where I personally spent most of my time, we were able to connect the speakers to Bluetooth and listen to what we like while enjoying the pool and the dock. My Husband really enjoyed the dock and fishing. Recommendations if you like to stay on the dock, bring plenty of bug spray, there were tons of mosquitos. The only thing that I have to say about the home is that the temp for the house was a little warm for us. We are used to a lot cooler house temp, but we managed. The only negative I can think of is that we had issues with one of the neighbors, which I am discussing with the owner. The house, the host, the pool and the dock area was amazing! we saw dolphins and stingrays right next to our dock.

Perfect family spot!!

This place was fantastic!! We loved everything about it! The pool, the dock with so much active sea live to observe, the house, the location... everything was fabulous!!!! I did find quite the surprise in the bbq when I went to use it the first time 😳 but besides that - we'd 100% stay here again and have already started thinking about next year!

Beautiful Home and Amenities

Everything that we needed was available, the pool and all the pool toys were wonderful for our kids. My husband and son enjoyed fishing off the dock, catching lots of catfish and 2 stingrays.

A Piece of Paradise

My husband and I have been spending our vacations at this home for 4 years now. We love the large private pool and boat dock where we fish and watch the porpoise show and sunsets in the evening. The surrounding neighborhood is a very quite, clean, upscale community. The house is always Immaculate! The house is equipped with all your cooking needs, as well as bath towels, pool towels, bath soap, tissue, laundry soap, and pretty much anything else you may need. All you need to pack is a swimsuit and let the happy times begin! I would recommend this home a thousand times over! The owners are great people and are always just a text or call away if you should need anything.

Amazing house

Had an absolutely amazing 2 weeks at this property, son was up 6.30am every morning fishing, we went out when the sun came up for a few hours and by lunchtime the pool was hot enough to go into to cool down! Never had any issue's at all with the house and it was ideal it was close to Tampa Airport for us so not a long drive like we previously have had from Orlando Airport, never spoke much to any of the neighbours although my son spoke to the lovely woman next door about fishing...just a shame he never spoke to her sooner about fishing! Also recommended a good restaurant for breakfast and a bait shop aswell, overall a great location for a holiday just to get away and chill out...such a quiet and peaceful area to enjoy the sun and plenty boats to watch going up and down the waterway even at night aswell, not forgetting to include the dolphins a couple of times a day and manatees!

No thanks, I'd find a better home to rent

Very poor upkeep with many items listed that didn't work. Owner was rude when I asked about replacing a totally rusted out grill. Various other issues.

Nice home on the canal with pool

This house was very clean and well supplied with all that we needed. Check-in was very easy. The house has access to the canal along with a very nice pool. Neighborhood was quiet in the evenings.

Awesome location

This is a great property. We wanted a pool and were torn between a house and staying in a hotel because the initial cost of house was more. We decided on the house because of the privacy the house would provide. And when we got down there we were so happy with our decision - the hotels we had looked into were packed. Additionally, the house allowed us to save money by having a full kitchen and not have to eat out all the time. Plus we had dolphins swim by and gave us a 45 minute show one day. We would stay here again for sure.

Upon arrival the owners were very responsive and helpful. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The solar heated pool was awesome. The pool deck has very nice furniture and an outdoor Bluetooth/radio sound system. The view of the canal from the boat deck was spectacular, especially at sunset. Everything you need for your stay is at your fingertips. Bath towels, pool towels, laundry soap, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and a fully equipped kitchen. We highly recommend this property and will definitely book again.

Summer Vacation

Had a great stay! House was beautiful. Spent most of the time in the pool or fishing from the dock. House had plenty of amenities, towels, bathroom and kitchen supplies. If I had one complaint, it would be the thermostat kept resetting itself to 82, which is too warm for our liking for summer in Florida. But with ceiling fans in all the rooms, it made it comfortable. Great neighborhood and we would definitely stay again.

This vacation home is in a great location with a nice view! The house was immaculate when we arrived, it’s tastefully decorated and the heated pool was a wonderful touch. We hope to get back there soon.

Perfect getaway

Great spot, beautiful sunsets. With the pool and waterside deck there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. Would definitely book again.

Nice for the price

The property looks just like the photos. The pool seemed to be solar heated but was pretty cold. There aren’t floaties for the pool so we bought some in town. We caught fish off the dock and saw dolphins swim by every day and spent more time on the dock than in the pool. Lots of fish swim by (dolphins, manatees, sting rays, sheepshead, small sharks, needlefish, just to name a few). We had to borrow a cooler from the neighbors so plan ahead if you know you will be taking day trips to the beach or a fishing charter. Beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. are all very close. I would recommend this place or at least the Apollo Beach area for renting. You do not have access to the entire home (master bedroom or bath) and the front room is not usable, it’s more of an open storage room for odds and ends. Owner is very responsive and wants you to enjoy your stay which we did!
