My husband and I purchased this timeshare one year before we were married. We have had many wonderful times with great memories. We skied with our childless friends in the eighties and our friends with children in the nineties. For the past ten years we have been living in Massachusetts as my husband's job with IBM caused him to be transferred there. While we enjoyed New England we still missed the skiing in Colorado, so last we purchased a new home in Evergreen, CO, and we are excited to be back. We still aren't in the position to use the timeshare however, so we are hoping that someone else can enjoy it. We are looking forward to some great skiing and are hoping to volunteer in the Winter Park handicapped ski program this winter. We have a daughter who is still in school in Boston who is thrilled that we are back in Colorado as she has become an expert snowboarder and is planning to spend Christmas here with us. I may be originally from Texas, and my husband may be originally from New York, but we consider ourselves Coloradans as most of our lives have been spent here.

While my husband and I had skied at many of the ski areas in Colorado, Vail was always our favorite. The ski area just has the best terrain, and the bowls provide a different kind of skiing than is found in most other areas. We didn't plan to buy a timeshare, but the Douglas building was new, and it was tempting. It is a decision we have not regretted as we have had so many fun times there.
Not only does Vail provide the best skiing in Colorado, but we have found the town to be a lot of fun. For us however, we have really enjoyed just being at Streamside. I particularly like the outdoor hot tub at the clubhouse. While there are others on the property, that one really hits the spot after skiing, and it has been a fun place to meet people. We have also cooked a lot of meals in the condo. The kitchen is well-equipped, which makes it easy. And I really appreciate the shuttle. With it leaving every twenty minutes it is so easy to grab your skis from the locker, jump on the bus, then get let off not far from the lift.

These particular condos rent for over $700.00 per night. If you compare what comparable condos in Vail are renting for at Christmas, you will see that this is an extremely good deal. I pay taxes that I do not include, so not only is the price very good, but the tax savings are substantial.
