We purchased this lovely four acre river front property to have a place for our children to play. We all ride and the trails are minutes away. Whether it's dirt biking, ATV, or snowmobiling you can get to anywhere in the UP from our place. The boating is great and there is great fishing and hunting in the area. We Love it here.

UPRED purchased this cabin in 2013

I drove from Houston to that cabin to find a fonky smell and rat boop falling out the ceiling and on top of that it wasn't clean and there's a rat in there. My experience was horrible heat could keep up with the outside temperatures. The Christmas suprise turned into a nightmare instead of me enjoying the cabin I spent Christmas cleaning it. The owner as of today Jan 6 2018 still haven't refund me my money I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay not a good choice you will be mad once you see.

A lovely quiet place

  • 5 of 5

This place it's worth it's money. Definitely bring ur own sheets, pillows, blankets, plates, forks, pans, and DVDs lol it was fun being here with my girlfriend for the weekend had a blast burning all that free wood from the woods. But the lake isn't behind or in front of the house like its shown on the pictures it's across the other house across from ours but still can go to it easily regardless a beautiful cabin with all the amenities you'll love it here!!!!

Enjoyed it!

The cabin was quiet and cozy. If you are looking for a luxurious cabin, then keep looking. It is a simple little cabin which has everything you need. We enjoyed paddling on the river as well.

Beautiful little place

  • 5 of 5

I absolutely loved this little cabin. It didn't smell bad at all, it was super cozy. Not even a trace of mice. Super hot water and lots of pressure. Shower stall was completely fine. It was super warm during the winter stay, at below zero it was cranking to 80 degrees when first arrived. There was one small issue with the heater, but Shelly was super awesome at helping remedy it. She was great on the phone and the entire experience was amazing. There is a little tv with some dvd's, but spent most of the time outside snowshoeing and even saw two moose!! Kitchen is great with pretty much everything someone would need for most meals. Overall, absolutely loved this little cabin and will be back for sure.

Beautiful fall colors, great kayaking, clean affordable cabin, close to awesome trails

  • 5 of 5

We spent a few days here in the fall, to check out the colors and do some biking and it was awesome. The cabin was clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Extra blankets and pillow. The shower was a little small, but there was plenty of hot water and towels. The water access is across the way and there are some steps to get to it, but we were able to tie up our kayaks in a grassy area next to the boat house. The care taker Dave was there working on the main house and was very helpful.Told us if we needed anything he would be around. Asked us if he could access the crawl space when we were gone riding, which wasn't a problem. Said there was a mouse complaint, but we didn't see any and we saw no signs of mice? He showed us how to turn on the gas heater. ( we just used the space heater provided, it wasn't cold enough for the gas) Other than that it was very private. The trails are very close. (access just up the road in the little town of Republic) There are miles of beautiful trails up there. We are already planning a trip back in the winter to snow bike. Dave tells us the trails are groomed in the winter.
