Although we had had a slight hiccup with check in, Amy’s communication and quick action got us back on track quickly. The house was wonderful. My group enjoyed every room of the space and left feeling relaxed and restored.
This home was perfect for our family during our recent trip to Seattle. This home is well built, well maintained and has high-quality finishes throughout. The home is well stocked with everything needed for an extended stay. The surroundings are serene and peaceful. Discovery Park is a short hike from the house, with multiple options that take you through wooded areas if that's desirable. I highly recommend this home if you are considering a trip to the Seattle area. This home delivers!

About the host
Hosted by Amy Limp
My husband and I are originally from Arkansas but we have lived in Seattle for over twenty years. We have two young teenage children and we work in the construction industry. We are not professional hosts - we just like to share the property with responsible guests when family is not staying there. We like to travel and appreciate high end accommodations, and we've tried to think of everything to make your stay equally as nice. We are easy to reach and close by if any needs arise.
Why they chose this property
Our neighborhood, Lawtonwood, is incredibly peaceful. The neighborhood has a real Pacific Northwest feel and is adjacent to a huge wooded park with beach and lighthouse access. This location offers the quiet and safety of a home in the suburbs but is an easy 20 minute drive to everything the city center has to offer. Lawtonwood is located in the larger community of Magnolia. Magnolia Village has coffee shops, book shops, shopping, restaurants, bars, bakeries and a farmers' market. It is a beautiful little village core.
What makes this property unique
Our parents live in this property part time and we have remodeled it with love as an upscale family home. It is family friendly and the floorplan accomodates both privacy and gathering of guests
