About Lynn Glaser
After enjoying vacations in the beauty of the White Lake Area, all the water, all the dunes, and enjoying staying in the authentic, ambient log cabins on a wooded bluff overlooking White Lake, after a stay, Glenn and I, Lynn Glaser, found the log cabins we loved available to purchase and made the decision to move to live in this beauty day-after-day with our family of three daughters, uprooting from Chicagoland ‘s Northwest suburb, Des Plaines, where we were all born and Glenn and I were totally raised, to live in this beauty. We have been fortunate enough to call our vacation cabins, ours for many years. I am responsible for our unique name; years ago, while still in Illinois, I had a redwood sign made at the Illinois State Fair with the name Glaser’s Glenn on it, hoping someday to have a piece of property to be called Glaser’s Glenn, never having an idea we would have the opportunity we still have today! Because Glenn was a full-time Pharmacist and I, a substitute teacher, we both had portable professions and were able to put our talents to use as soon as we made the decision. Since our move, I have been the sole manager of Glaser’s Glenn, wearing all the necessary hats of a small business owner, a resort owner. It became my 10-month-a-year employment, which it is today! Additionally, while Glenn continued to work as a Pharmacist, I added more hats, becoming a Cheerleading/Pompon Coach for Whitehall High School, a Certified Travel Agent, a Certified Pharmacy Technician, and an Adjunct Professor at two local colleges; now both of us are retired. Although we are Co-owners, I remain Manager, and Glenn is my errand-runner and Manuel Labor, taking care of maintenance and landscaping. Although stressful getting the log cabins cleaned and the property ready for the season as well as making sure everything is standing tall when you arrive for your stay, it is all worth it, getting to the best part, greeting & getting to know so many special people, our guests!

Why Lynn Glaser chose Whitehall
Glaser's Glenn Log Cabin Resort, sitting on the edge of a wooded bluff overlooking White Lake, with its five log cabins born in a simpler era, allows you peace and quiet in the rural area of the White Lake Area, as you experience the beauty and simplicity of an authentic log cabin with its gleaming natural knotty pine-wood walls. At our 125 feet of lakefront, you will also find another campfire pit and a rowboat's use and life jackets for each cabin. (PHOTOS of the two-bedroom log cabins (3) : 3, 10, 11, 18, 19, 20, 21)
What makes this Cabin unique
Within the interior confines of your cabin, you will have the ambience of its gleaming, natural wood walls, open-beamed ceilings, and a fireplace, for which we provide the firewood should you need it, the only source of heat. Dine indoors on the handcrafted wood, leafed table in its Great Room using its kitchen for preparing your meals, using the provided cooking utensils, pots-and-pans, dishes, silverware, coffeemaker, toaster, stove, and refrigerator, or dine outside on your picnic table using the charcoal grill. Then, within the confines of the "L" formed by our five log cabins, you will find our well-equipped recreation area: campfire pit, shuffleboard, tether-ball, volleyball/badminton, swing set, sandbox, sport building with sink and running water to clean your bevy of fish you caught from White Lake that you have access to, from our 125 feet of lakefront about 100 yards down a single-lane blacktop, across a two-lane blacktop. While using one of our rowboats, you have the opportunity to catch several of the variety of fish that live White Lake, the mouth of the White River: Wall-eyed and Northern Pike; Lake Michigan Perch; Crappie; Bluegill; Large-mouth, Small-mouth and White Bass. Then, if you hire a charter boat, you can catch big-game fish in Lake Michigan, accessible through an Army Corp of Engineers-maintained channel. No matter what type of boating is your bag, there's plenty of room for it all on 6 x 1 1/2 mile long White Lake, power boating, sail-boating, personal watercraft, pontooning and other water sports skiing and tubing--you choose!
