About Jill Jones
I was raised in Skiatook and my family has been in this area for many generations. The cabin property is next to my family's original Osage tribal allotment. Even though I've traveled far and wide, I always like to come back to my native lands in the Osage hills where I feel most at home.
Jill Jones purchased this Cabin in 2004
Why Jill Jones chose Skiatook
This part of Osage County is very unique terrain, and the area around Skiatook Lake is especially beautiful. The cabin overlooks the lake and provides a nice secluded location for enjoying nature or lake activities or just getting away from it all.
What makes this Cabin unique
The cabin is cozy and comfortable inside, whether relaxing on the couch, cooking a meal, lighting up the firepit, or enjoying a fire in the wood stove during cold weather. On warm days, I really like the large deck overlooking the for grilling outdoors or kicking back for an afternoon or evening.

Wonderful experience - if you're looking for solitude, this place is it.
I'd definitely stay there again. While you're not next door to a ton of attractions, that's what we wanted: a quiet spot in nature. Great weekend retreat for couples!
Cute little cabin
We were in town for the weekend for a wedding. The cabin was the perfect little getaway between events. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks!
Quiet and secluded
We stayed at this cabin 3/1-3/4 for a fishing trip and had a great time! Everything you need is available at the cabin for a comfortable trip. We will be back in the summer !
This little cabin is the perfect getaway, especially for couples. And you can bring your dog too! It sits on secluded property that overlooks the lake. In the mornings, the sun comes up over the lake and ridge and it's beautiful. I'm here in the winter but I imagine summer would be fun too. We'll be going back. Soon I hope. :)
This is a great place for a quiet weekend away from the city. The cabin is roomy and supplied with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
Cozy, quiet, and relaxing
I wish I had planned more time just to relax here. This is a great place to sit on the back porch, drink coffee and read a book. Next time I'll allow more time for that.
Owner was very responsive with questions and my stay was very pleasant, despite the CRAZY thunderstorms that passed through.
