Located 2 minutes walk from the beach La Caleta, the apartment El encanto de la Palma is situated in the neighborhood "La Viña" in the heart of Cádiz, which boasts beautiful, historic buildings and a lovely holiday atmosphere. Combining its 18th century architecture with a highly modern interior, the charming vacation apartment on the ground floor consists of a living room with rustic brick masonry and a sofa bed (for 2 people), a very well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, one bedroom as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include air conditioning, cable television and a baby cot. Due to the apartment’s truly optimal location, cafes, shops, restaurants and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity and the famous beach La Caleta is only a 2-minute walk from your front door. A perfect place for a beach and city holiday! The most popular sights of Cádiz - the Gran Teatro Falla, the castles of Santa Catalina and San Sebastian, Parque Genovés, and Paseo Campo del Sur are all located within a 15-minute walk from the property.

Around the property there are several private parking lots for a charge - if requested, the homeowner can find a garage for guests at an extra cost.

Just fantastic. This is a gorgeous and unique apartment in one of Cadiz’s most lively streets. Well-equipped kitchen and good air con in a beautifully-designed and quirkily decorated, perfect for couples. Easy to walk to all parts of Cadiz that you’ll want to see. It’s a peaceful haven inside but throughout the day and evening when you step outside it’s full of life with some of the city’s best restaurants. Great host, helpful and communicative. Thoroughly recommended.

Quirky in Cadiz

We had a lovely stay in this quirky apartment located right in the heart of a busy social street of bars and restaurants. This is not the place to stay if you want peace and quiet!We loved the artwork, lighting, decor. The kitchen was well equipped.The upstairs neighbours were very noisy and not at all friendly... (I sensed some history there).Would love to go back!

Location, location, location!

We loved our stay! The location is phenomenal with cafes all around. Walking distance to the cathedral and parking lot close by. The apartment is classy and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable! Happy noise and singing in the evenings. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Dark, cold, and moldy is how I sum up this apartment. It was a really depressing place to stay. I couldn't even sleep in the bedroom because the mold is so bad. The shower pan leaks from the bottom, there is probably a lot of mold under it. My nose was dripping from the irritation. No body wash provided. One scratchy white towel provided for the whole week I rented the apartment. The apartment also smells like cigarette smoke, more or less from time to time, I assume because of the ventilation shaft that draws other upper floor residents smoke down. Garbage is loudly picked up on the street at 3AM. On weekends especially the noise from restaurant patrons doesn't stop until around 1:30-2AM. Location is near many things people want to see and do in the area.

Espectacular y acogedora

Nos alojamos mi amiga y yo, la estancia era muy cómoda , nada de frío. Está ubicada en la Calle Virgen de la Palma y fuimos la semana de Carnaval. El ruido de la calle casi ni se notaba . Tuvimos un pequeño problema y Rudy estaba allí a los 20 min . Muy agradecida

Nice apartment in historic Cadiz

Easy to get around old Cadiz from this ground level apartment. No parking on premises or in front but only a block away and inexpensive. Recommend for couples.

Nice Apartment, but a lot to be desired in the bedroom.

Very cool apt, But it doesn't have any windows. The bedroom was really the only issue. It was depressing and very uncomfortable. The AC unit was old and if you left it on too long without emptying the water it would overflow all over the floor. The exhaust for the AC goes out of a glass brick wall open to the courtyard and units above the property. Apparently this is where the neighbors went to smoke (seemingly all night and morning) so the bedroom filled with cigarette smoke and for non-smokers this was a nightmare. The bed was small, uncomfortable, and bedding was not nice either. We still had a great time and enjoyed the rest of the apartment (the bathroom was super nice), but we dreaded going to sleep in the bedroom.
