Hongdae is one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Seoul—some would even say the best. It offers the perfect mix of energy and convenience: great cafés, restaurants, shopping, live music, and street culture around Hongik University, plus quieter spots nearby for a relaxing walk.
One of the best things about this location is that it’s almost equally close to both the lively Hongik Univ. area and the calmer Gyeongui Line Forest Park—so you can enjoy the fun side of Hongdae and still unwind whenever you want. Just a 3-minute walk away, you’ll also find the Yeonnam area, known for its more elegant restaurants and relaxed atmosphere.
It’s also an ideal transportation hub. Hongik Univ. Station connects multiple train lines and makes it easy to explore Seoul and travel to and from the airport.
