Close to the center: House with garden

If you would like to enjoy seeing the sights of Rome and then relax in a quiet place far from traffic noise, you can choose Casa Fratocchi apartment. Located just a few underground stops away from the most important sights in Rome, the apartment is the annex of a one family house in Rome that lies in a quiet neighbourhood far from the traffic noise of big cities but very near to the metro station of Arco di Travertino with which is very easy to reach the centre of the town. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed (on request we can add another bed) and the other with 2 single beds, one bath with shower and a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, mixer). TV, free WI-FI and air conditioning are available. A table and four chairs under a garden umbrella let you have lunch or dinner outside when the weather is good and let you relax after a long sightseeing of Rome. On request you can park in the courtyard(for a small extra charge).


To respect our environment we have solar panels to produce warm water

In the neighbourhood: Parco della Caffarella (Appia Antica Park): from here you can take a pleasant and long walk or ride to the Appia Antica. You can rent bicycles near the park. Parco dell' Antica via Latina contains the tombs of the ancient Roman time with very important stucco and fresco decorations.

Great Place to Stay!

My children and I really liked this place! Martina was a great host. The place was close to the metro and that made traveling around easy. We would definitely recommend it.

Stay in Rome

We would highly recommend this fantastic apartment, it is clean, very well kept and equipped and met all our needs for our four night stay in Rome. Great access to the metro, easy to leave the busy Rome central in just a few stops and have such a peaceful place.

Amazing hosts and apartment!

Martina was absolutely lovely, she made the checking in process so smooth, and she gave us a warm welcome! The apartment is beautiful and is really good location wise with fantastic links to the centre of Rome! Would highly recommend!

Great low cost accommodation

Very comfortable accommodation in a quiet area, close to metro & good supermarket nearby. Outside eating area & garden were an added bonus. Martina was very helpful & available and had set up an excellent folder of useful local information. We loved Lucy, the dog, so gentle and companionable. Thanks for a lovely stay in Rome.

Available, very nice, and welcoming host. Also enjoyed seeing their quiet and gentle dog every day. The house was charming, with a nice private yard,and all the conveniences. Few minute walk to the metro A line. Nice local and non-touristy neighborhood, including with archaeological sites to visit. Good restaurants, and nearby grocery store. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Martina and Leonardo!

A sanctuary in the city

The apartment was very clean, had everything you needed and the host does an excellent job of assisting with anything and makes great offers for local places. The house is secure and even though it is in the center of the city you can’t hear it. After the chaos of Rome it was great to retreat back to this place. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Martina was a great host, welcomed us in person and the house had a manual for meeting our needs… from using the AC, to where the closest grocery stores were. Their dog Lucy was a lovely addition, she welcomed us cheerfully every time we came home. Transportation is within walking distance and it was a nice quiet street. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The owner was flexible with our arrival times and greeted us on our way in with some tips for navigating the area. The area across the road is a little run down looking, but we never felt unsafe. The house was beautiful, with a nice little patio to sit on in the mornings. There is also a metro station just down the road for easy transportation to and from the city and she also offered to set up our cab to the airport on the day of our departure. I will definitely be keeping this property in mind if we visit again!

Très bel appartement, joli décor et propre. Très proche des transports, métro, bus et petit supermarché moins de 5 minutes à pied. Martina est parfaite, merci pour l’accueil et l’aide. Elle parle français donc c’était parfait pour moi.N’hésitez pas, je recommande vivement.

Martina a été une hôte d'une grande gentillesse et disponibilité. L'appartement était tel que décrit, au calme, joliment décoré et bien équipé. La literie de bonne qualité. Terrasse et salon de jardin très agréables selon les conditions météo et mousticos Très proche du métro qui amène au centre et d'un supermarché assez grand.

Alles war fantastisch! Das Haus ist schön und gemütlich, der Garten ist wunderschön! Die Lage ist perfekt: außerhalb des touristischen Trubels und durch die Nähe zur U-Bahn ist man trotzdem schnell im Zentrum. Wir haben ein sehr schönes authentisches Cafe und ein super Fischrestaurant in der Nähe gefunden. Martina ist ein super Host! Sie hat uns freundlicherweise erlaubt, unser Gepäck vor dem Einchecken und nach dem Auschecken im Haus zu lassen, was wirklich eine große Hilfe für uns war. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ruhig gelegene Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen, auch wenn man ab und an ein Flugzeug hört, was aber nicht weiter stört. Die Betten sind bequem, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Einzig eine Kanne o.ä. fehlte uns etwas. Martina ist sehr freundlich und war immer gut erreichbar, wenn man eine Frage hat. Zur Verfügung steht auch eine schöner Gartenbereich. Aufgrund der Gartennähe sind Ameisen mit von der Partie, was uns aber nicht störte.

Super Wohnung - der Abschied fiel schwer

Wir hatten eine tolle Kurzwoche in Rom. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Uns waren die zwei getrennten Schlafzimmer wichtig - TOP! Der Supermarkt in der direkten Nähe machte ein schnelles Frühstück ebenso einfach, wie ein schnelles Abendessen nach einem langen Touri-Tag. Die Metro-Anbindung ist super - somit ist man in 15 Minuten mitten im Zentrum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt-Martina stand immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.Der von ihr organisierte Taxi-Transfer zum Flughafen lief ebenfalls super. Wenn wir Rom erneut besuchen, wissen wir wo wir wohnen wollen!

Tolle Unterkunft für Urlaub in Rom

Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Aufenthalt in Rom benötigt. Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Herd mit Backofen, Kaffee, Spülmitel usw. Man kann einfach einchecken und sich wohlfühlen. Die Betreiberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Mit dieser sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rom in 15-20 Min. zu erreichen. Man konnte sein Auto sogar in der Unterkunft abstellen und musste nicht auf der Straße parken, was uns auch sehr wichtig war. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein Supermarkt welcher von 08.00 - 20.00 Uhr geöffnet ist. Auch die Metro ist zu Fuß in 5 Min. zu erreichen. Einziger Nachteil war die Klimaanlage, welche am ersten Tag nur im Elternschlafzimmer ging und im Kinderzimmer nicht so richtig. Am zweiten Tag ging die Klima im Elternschlafzimmer aus und nicht mehr an, was bei 37 C (im Schatten) fast unerträglich war.

Sehr gut gelegene Wohnung

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen, hat alles was man braucht sowie einen zubuchbaren Stellplatz im Hof. Die Metro, der Bus, ein Supermarkt und weiteres sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Vermieterin ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Roma - Reise in die Vergangenheit

Die Casa von Martina und Ihrer Familie mit der tollen Wachhündin war uns ein entspanntes Kleinod im Herzen Roms, was dank seiner ruhigen Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zur U-Bahn genau der richtige Ausgleich nach dem Tag in einer lauten und historisch vollgepackten Stadt wie Rom war. Der nächste Supermarkt war auch super fußläufig zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein toller Trip zurück in die Vergangenheit.👍

Ruhige Wohnung, die über die Metro idealen Zugang nach Rom zulässt.

Das wichtigste zunächst, Martina ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die um das wohl Ihrer Gäste äußerst bemüht ist. Die Wohnung selbst ist für zwei Personen ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ruhig. Ein angeschlossener Garten, erlaubt abendliche Entspannung. Für den täglichen Bedarf sind Geschäfte in der Nähe. Der Weg zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms ist mit der ebenfalls in Fussnähe gelegenen Metrostation sehr schnell und bequem. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft.

Tolle Basis für Ausflüge nach Rom

Die tolle Wohnung liegt ideal. Dank der U-Bahn ist man in nur 20 Minuten im Zentrum. Direkt in der Nachbarschaft ist ein klasse Supermarkt und auch ein Café für das Frühstück. Martina und ihre Familie wohnen auf dem gleichen Grundstück und sind für Fragen eine wertvolle Hilfe. Alles ist sehr sauber und wir bekamen sogar nach 2 Tagen frische Handtücher. Wenn wir nochmal nach Rom fahren werden wir wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

Idéal pour visiter Rome

On a adoré l’emplacement, à deux pas du métro et des commerces. Les plus : le jardin très calme et la clim dans les deux chambres. Accueil parfait. Un point de chute parfait pour visiter la ville éternelle.

Un havre de paix près de Rome

La location est très agréable et fonctionnelle avec un jardin qui est un véritable havre de paix. Elle est située à quelques kilomètres des principaux sites historiques. Martina vous accueille chaleureusement et sera vous conseiller. Nous recommandons vivement cette location pour ceux qui recherche un logement au calme à quelques encablures de l'effervescence de Rome.
