Ideal Location: The ocean waves sooth. The humpback whales mesmerize during the calving season. Expansive beach is a short walk wrapping the bay for a glorious stretch of three miles.
Welcome the morning with sunrises over Haleakala. This apartment is within steps of a quiet little sandy spot that's separated from the bustling beaches - great early morning and dusk honu (Hawaiian green sea turtle) feeding action. Steps in the other direction take you to the heated pool.
Short walks to: Maui's longest stretch of undeveloped beach (if really lucky, you may see an endangered Hawaiian monk seal on the sand - be sure to maintain a distance of at least 150 feet from the protected animals), harbor (boating excursions), Maui Ocean Center, and two small grocery stores. It is centrally located for ease of sightseeing in all directions.

Meticulously thoughtful renovation in which natural materials of mahogany and slate welcome and celebrate. the beauty of Ma'alaea Bay and this island. Incredible sunrises. Modern A/C It's perfectly warm - year round. If rain is falling or wind is blowing - not on the lanai. The arc of this building and covered lanai ensures calm outdoor dining.The unit fans to the ocean. The views and sounds of the ocean are amazing. This is a relatively private unit. The koi in the pond are directly out the door and are a joy coming and going. The morning birds chirp 'New Day.'

Very comfortable ground floor option with everything we needed.
Very comfortable unit. Ground floor was great with the lanai on the ocean. Location offered quick access to north, west and south Maui giving us great options every day.
Loved Island Casual!!!
This oceanfront condo was perfect for our Maui getaway! It was beautifully decorated and had every possible convenience one needed. So great to walk into the condo our first evening and have fresh flowers, morning treats ready for the next day along with coffee and fruit! Even had chilled beer and wine. We felt spoiled!!!! For us it was ideal to be away from the crowds but definitely had exactly what we needed close by. Thank you Lisa for making our trip so special. Kim
Perfect Vacation Spot!
We enjoyed our stay immensely! Lisa was an absolute joy to deal with. We were greeted with a gorgeous welcome basket of local fruit and goodies, fresh flowers and a lovely card. The condo is beautifully decorated, very clean and stocked with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The beds are comfortable and the layout is well suited for two couples or a family. The best place is the lanai! The comfy rocking chair with ottoman was my favorite place to watch the whales every day. We had birds, storks and even a duck come to visit us on the lanai. There is a small beach very close and the turtles are there all the time.
A short walk to an almost deserted beach where you can walk for ages. The other direction, again a short walk, is the marina. We enjoyed a sunset cruise and it was so nice to stroll home afterwards. There are 2 restaurants at the marina, various shops and the aquarium. The general store makes pretty good lattes!
We have visited Maui many times and have stayed all over the island. Maalaea is our favorite area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful condo.
Beautiful and Perfect Location
We had a wonderful time here. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was clear that there was a lot of attention to detail. Lisa was amazing to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed and all of our questions answered prior to our arrival. We ended up coming in quite late at night and arrived at a perfect welcoming. The place was beautifully lit and there was an amazing gift basket with drinks, snacks, little flowers - great start to the vacation! We were happily surprised how comfortable the beds were. Pretty much everything you need to go to the beach was provided - chairs, umbrella, towels - so convenient. Awesome water view. If you plan on exploring the whole island, this is the area to stay. It's close to the airport and easy access to West Maui, South Maui, Haleakala, Road to Hana. When we come back, we will stay here again.
Wonderful Comfortable Property, Beautiful View!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect for our trip. We stayed with another couple and the layout was perfect for two couples. Lisa was an awesome owner to deal with, she answered all of our question prior to arrival and the basket of goodies was a perfect way to welcome us. The place was clean, well maintained and stocked with little things that may have been forgotten....
Everyone was so welcoming and pleasant, truly a wonderful vacation!!

The beach was close and you could walk for miles on the beautiful coastline. Spectacular view! It was a short walk to the harbor and the marine center with access to tours, stores and restaurants.
At home on Maui
This is a lovely, spacious condo, furnished to provide a Maui home for the owners. The owners are like gracious hosts welcoming you into their home. The furniture, flooring, appliances, amenities - that is everything- is of high quality and beautifully maintained. Even the welcome basket was first rate. This is the perfect condo for people who want a quiet, sedate location, right on a great walking beach, somewhat removed from the intense tourist areas, but within easy driving distance of everything. We loved exploring during the day and then enjoying the evening, and mornings also, at the condo, usually on the lanai.
Stop: Be in this beautiful location. Look: the ocean, the mountain, the crater, the island, the palms and blossoms delight. Listen: The waves soothe. Relax: beachtime - splash, walk, build sandcastles, run, look for shells, read a book, boogieboard, picnic. See: humpback whales breaching, fin and tail slapping. Ma'alaea Bay is within the Hawaiian Islands National Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary. The whales breed, calve and nurse here from November to May. Eat & Drink: Be served from early morning to late evening at casual to fine dining choices or shop for groceries within walking distance. Barbecue by the pool. Swim: Immerse yourself in the ocean or the pool. Discover: Maui Ocean Center. Wonders for all ages. Explore: Ma'alaea Harbor's diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, and whale watching excursions. Birdwatch: Stroll the boardwalk at Kealia Pond Bird Sanctuary. This refuge provides some of the last remaining natural wetland habitat in Hawaii. Surf: Beginners to experts can ride the southside swells. Freight Train rolls from time to time (one of the world's fastest ridable waves).
