Nestled in the heart of the wild and romantic Upper Danube Nature Park, Bahnhof 123 in Fridingen offers family-friendly accommodations with a special historical charm. Welcome to the historic train station in Fridingen! Bringing this listed building from 1890 back to life and opening its doors to travelers was a labor of love for us—three families from Fridingen. In the spring of 2020, we purchased the train station and began lovingly renovating it together. Four guest rooms with a total of 12 beds are located on the upper floor. The kitchen-dining area, bathroom, and a separate restroom are shared by guests. Our two spacious family rooms are particularly well-suited for travelers with children: the adjoining room, which is directly connected to the master bedroom, has two beds, and additional beds can be added. Bahnhof 123 is also the perfect accommodation for both larger and smaller groups. If needed, the upper floor, which can accommodate up to a dozen people, can also be rented as a whole. The historic waiting room on the first floor can then (upon request) serve as an additional lounge. The station also houses the mechanical signal box for switches and signals, which is still in operation. Parking is available right next to the building. Bicycles can be parked in the locked entrance area, and e-bikes can also be charged there. During the day, Regional-Express trains traveling between Donaueschingen and Ulm stop every two hours directly at the adjacent track. At night, however, there are no trains—so you’re free to enjoy a restful night’s sleep! Breakfast can be booked on-site at the accommodation upon request. “We may not always be reachable by phone. Email inquiries will be answered promptly” <br> The 30-square-meter four-bed room is ideal for families. It consists of a main room and an adjoining room with four single beds. An extra bed for a fifth person can also be provided. A closet is available. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with the other guests.
