Cute home, great location
The home was delightful, well equipped and maintained. Location was wonderful for walking to downtown, Mill district, shops, restaurants, park. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Debbie was very helpful and thoughtful.
Great location. Walk to resultants and shops
Comfortable historic home, clean and close to everything. A great place to stay and enjoy all Bend has to offer.
Cozy historic home in the heart of Bend
We LOVE Bend Oregon, and we LOVE to ski. This year we booked this lovely historic home. It has all of the charms of an old home but it is updated and extremely well kept up. The home is very warm and cozy in the winter, they have a modern heating system installed and the place will warm up almost instantly. After our days on Mt. Bachelor, arriving to this house was always a welcoming environment to put up our feet and relax. The kitchen is set up great. I have been to other VRBO homes that did not have all of the basic kitchen ammenities that one might need for cooking. This kitchen had all and then some. Even a aerator attachment for pouring a good glass of wine. The beds were comfortable. Having two bathrooms was really handy. The home accommodated our small King Charles Spaniel quite well! They had a dog bowl and treats and a securely gated backyard for our little pup to go outside when needed. The space was the perfect size and nicely decorated with warm earth tone colors. The showers worked great, had fantastic water pressure. The location is perfection. I walked our dog along the Drake park next to the river. It is an easy walk to great local restaurants both directions from the house. Downtown Bend is only a short walk scenic walk. And the host Debbie was fantastic and spot on about giving us all the details we needed upon arrival. She is a great communicator and made our stay go smoothly. We would definitely stay here again.
Great little house near the downtown
Great little house within walking distance of the downtown. Drake Park is only a 50 yards from the front door which fronts the Deschutes River and miles of trails. The hi-tech thermostat takes some time to sort out.
Lovely home, exactly as indicated, in a lovely and convenient area. Terrific service booking and upon arrival, too. Our only regret is that we did not stay like longer. Thanks to the owner for making it available.
Second time just as nice
After enjoying our first visit two years ago so much, we wanted to stay again, and enjoyed our time immensely! Perfect for a weekend visit, with walks to Drake Park and downtown a grand way to enjoy the visit with my kids. Easy location for city access, in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. Thanks so much, Deb and Bruce!!
