Great house, close to town and the park

  • 4 of 5

This house is adorable! The kitchen has been updated and fully stocked with everything you need. Master bedroom has a nice king bed and large closet. The location is ideal. Just a few minutes to center of town, close to the park, the river and The Old Mill district. Everthing is neat, clean and very inviting.

Pretty great!

This house is a perfect little retreat. However, house needs some updating. Owner needs to throw down some cash to replace single pane windows. Brrrrrrrr. Frosty in the am!! Such a great location for sure. Would definitely rent in summer in future. Kansas ave rules!

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed the house ! The windows are an issue because the house is in a historical district and the windows aren't allowed to be replaced ! The historical people won't give permission for them to be replaced , I have looked into replacing them with modern wood windows ( nice ones ) but the answer was no ! They suggested having them removed taken to Portland , have all the lead base paint removed , the rotten wood replaced , the sashes removed and the original frames routered out to accommodate modern double glass panes , the cost of this process is astronomical , ridiculous ! the process also takes from two to three months , so then I have a lovely rental house with no windows !!!! But the historical people don't care ! So as at the moment it's a stalemate !

It is a great location.

It is our third stay there. The central location is wonderful. Walk to the park or to shopping and restaurants on Bond & Wall streets in less than .25 of a mile. Hard to beat!

A great place!

  • 5 of 5

We had never been to Bend before and chose this house primarily because of its central location. From the moment we pulled up to the curb, our expectations were more than exceeded. The house is beautiful inside and out, with plenty of modern amenities. Everything was clean and comfortable and the proximity to central bend was a huge bonus. We didn't have to drive anywhere! I would recommend this house again without hesitation, and we look forward to returning to Bend in the wintertime and renting this home again.

We LOVE this house!!!

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time we've stayed in Hanna house for our Bend vacations. It's so nice to be able to walk to restaurants, shops, coffee, the park and breweries. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful -- we enjoy sitting on the front porch reading . . . yes, it's that quiet! The house is a perfect size for two or three people. We're already planning to stay at Hanna house again next summer. Enjoy!!!

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

This house was amazing! The location is impossible to beat. Walk to downtown in 3 minutes and the river in 1 minute. The house it self is lovely. Very clean, nice and modern amenities packed in a charming old house. I will stay at this house every time I head to Bend.
