Accommodation description:
This romantic medieval studio dates back to 1500. It features a cosy interior and a kitchenette, so you can prepare breakfast in the morning independently and in peace. On balmy summer evenings, relax with a drink on the private terrace with its stunning waterfront location. Peace and relaxation in a prime location!

On-street parking is possible for a fee

Bruges' historic centre is a Unesco World Heritage Site. Really go and have a look at the Princely Beguinage, take a cruise on the Bruges canals, visit the Belfry or one of the many museums. There are numerous good restaurants and nice cafés where you can have a pleasant evening. In the immediate vicinity you will of course find the Flemish coast with its lively boulevards. A visit to nice villages such as Damme, Lissewege or the historic city of Ghent should not be forgotten. In short, a perfect place for a relaxed visit to this beautiful city.

Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

Charming!

Brgitte stayed in communication with us before and after our arrival. She assisted us at check in and we found the accommodations clean, comfortable and generally charming. Brugge was beautiful and the location was close to shops, restaurants and museums.

Great location and friendly host

Comfortable room. Shower is a bit unusual as it has no door and is open to the room so you have to take care not to splash water all over the floor, as it can flow into the room underneath. Otherwise very nice stay and great location. The host is very helpful with recommendations for restaurants etc.

Comfortable room for two persons in a medieval house

It is a cozy room with a fridge, microwave and dishes which was enough for us to have breakfast and smaller meals there. (no cooking possible) It is very close to the center of Bruges which is great! the owner lives in the house, is very friendly and gives interesting advice. She speaks English very well.

Lots of character

We enjoyed this room a lot. The hostess met us when we arrived, gave us the history of the 500-year-old building, and was very helpful throughout our stay. The room is upstairs in a house where the hostess and her husband live. It normally does not come with bedding and linens but they provided us with those since we were traveling from the US. Great location.

Charming room in historic house

It was a wonderful experience to spend a few nights in a 500 year old house! The owners have taken pains to preserve as much of the original interior as possible with a few necessary modern upgrades. Be aware that the stairs to the room are steep and treads are narrow but quite navigable. Nothing is far from anyplace else in Brugges Center so the location was convenient to everything. There is a nearby grocery and several good restaurants are also quite close.

Good location

It said kitchen which it did not have, they would not supply cups, had to buy them, had to ask for coffee maker. Very disappointed. Left early.

Küchenausstattung ist etwas einfach gehalten. Aber ansonsten ein sehr schönes Atelierzimmer in einem interessanten geschichtsreichen Haus mit einer sehr netten Gastgeberin. Die Terrasse im Garten ist eine grüne Oase in Mitten der Stadt.

Wenn Sie eine Puppenphobie haben, bleiben Sie nicht in dieser Vermietung. Ich war nicht auf die Wand mit Marionetten vorbereitet, die sich im Erdgeschoss befindet, oder auf den Schrank mit Handpuppen im Schlafzimmer, die einen anstarren, während man schläft. Abgesehen davon, dass ich nicht vor den Marionetten gewarnt wurde, sind die Fotos ein wenig irreführend. Es gibt keine Privatsphäre für die Dusche und die Tür der Toilette auf dem Dachboden/Schrank hat die Struktur einer Plumpsklo-Tür. Bleiben Sie hier nur mit einem Partner, den Sie bequem duschen auf dem Display für und sind bereit, für sie zu tragen auditiven Zeugen der Toilette verwenden. Das Zimmer ist kleiner als ich erwartet hatte. Ich empfehle nicht, hier länger als zwei Nächte zu bleiben. Der sehr schön aussehende Innenhof ist nur durch eine Seitengasse erreichbar. Es gibt auch eine große Anzahl von Moskitos. Die Mücken wären kein Problem, wenn man nicht mit offenen Fenstern schlafen müsste. Mein Mann und ich verließen Brügge mit vielen Mückenstichen, weil es uns zu warm war, um bei geschlossenen Fenstern zu schlafen. Das Beste an der Wohnung ist definitiv die Lage. Ich habe gemischte Kommentare darüber gesehen, was die Leute für ihren Aufenthalt bezahlt haben. Ich denke nicht, dass der Wert mehr als 25 pro Nacht wert ist. Aber, wenn Sie Puppen lieben, sind nur in der Stadt für eine Nacht oder zwei und wollen, um die Privatsphäre von Ihnen Beziehung zu vertreiben, könnte dieser Aufenthalt eine sehr gute Option für Sie sein.

Charming room on a quiet street

Brigitte was a wonderful host. She was available to answer questions and oriented us to the room. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. They did a lovely job on the renovation, keeping as much original character as possible. Would highly recommend this place.

Wow!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Brugge! We had to check in a little late because of the train schedule, and our sweet host was so accommodating and made it really easy. It was a charming room with so much history...I wish I could have spent more time there to learn about it all! The location was PERFECT. Just a couple minutes walk to the square, but in a quiet neighborhood so we could relax when we were done being tourists. If given the opportunity, I would definitely return and recommend staying here to others. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
