This charming apartment is located on the top floor of a quaint, historic building right in the heart of Meissen’s historic old town. Situated in the middle of a romantic alley, it’s just a 100-meter walk to the historic market square. You can’t get much closer than this.
The S-Bahn is just a 5-minute walk away, less than 500 meters from the apartment. The world-famous porcelain factory is only 800 meters away. You can reach Dresden by car in 30 minutes and by S-Bahn in 45 minutes. Even the famous Albrechtsburg Castle, which features exhibitions on the 1,000-year history of the city and porcelain, is just 700 meters or a 10-minute walk away. The Elbe River and the Meissen Old Town Bridge are also just a stone’s throw away—an 8-minute walk.
The apartment has been designed with care. We travel a lot for work and eventually got tired of impersonal hotel rooms. So we purchased one or two apartments in various cities we visit regularly. Accordingly, we’ve furnished it in a way that makes us feel at home, and we hope you will too. In addition to the basic amenities like a bed, TV, dresser, etc., we place special emphasis on providing many little extras that make your vacation easier. An iron, umbrella, hair dryer—coffee, tea, trash bags, dish soap—it’s not a hotel, but you shouldn’t be missing a thing.
The sunny apartment consists of a large living-bedroom with an open kitchen. Adjacent to it is the naturally lit bathroom with a shower and a picturesque view from the open window onto the quaint alley.
