The split floor plan, a bedroom and bath on opposites sides of the living room, allows maximum privacy for guests. Views of the Gulf of Mexico from both bedrooms as well as the LR and balcony. The condo is in a much sought after, keyed access, mid-rise building with large heated swimming pool and pool deck (no fighting for lounges), private beach access, elevators, interior corridors, luxurious activity room and lobby, outdoor grills, driveway pavers, etc. The assigned covered parking space is one of the closest to the lobby. The entire condo is on the beach side of the building so is shielded from any parking lot/vehicle noise. The large balcony accommodates a table for dining as well as a chaise. Plenty of room to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the Gulf. Sleeps 6 in beds. Max. overnight occupancy is 7.

Great location and wonderful condo
We stayed here for 3 weeks during January and February. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday on the gulf. We couldn't have asked for a better location.
The condo has been recently purchased and is in the process of getting some updates. A brand new shower stall was recently completed and looked beautiful. All the posted pictures, with the exception of the one bathroom, are accurate. The beds were very comfortable.
The whole building was well maintained and had nicely manicured grounds. The pool was kept at a warm temp. of approx 84F and the gulf was a walk across beautiful white sand. You can walk for a couple of hours each direction and often see dolphins and lots of shell treasures washed up on the beach. Parasailing, and seadoos are available to rent along the beach.
A very friendly group of people make up the owners and long term renters of Sunset House North. The delightful couple across the hall made us feel right at home and the office manager was most helpful. Every Monday is Bridge night. Wednesdays there is a social gathering complete with pot luck appetizers and then the men gather for a poker game. One afternoon is also reserved for Bocce. Most mornings an aquafit class was taking place in the pool and usually the social floating on pool noodles occurred in the afternoon. You were welcome to join in any or all of these events.
There are some interesting shops by the local movie theatre and the nearby Publix store as well as in old Marco Island. There is a Winn Dixie close by, and a Walmart and a small outlet centre is about 15 min away by car. On Wednesday mornings a farmer's market operates. The city of Naples with its zoo and a larger shopping centre is about a 30-40 min car drive.
We really didn't sample much of the restaurants or night life but heard from the locals there were many good places to eat and be entertained.
Thank you Dick for renting us your condo and making sure everything was in order for our arrival. You went out of your way to make us feel welcome and made every effort to ensure we had a great holiday. It was a wonderful break from reality and the cold up north. We would certainly stay here again if the opportunity arises.
