Este apartamento, recientemente rediseñado y amueblado, está situado en el corazón del casco antiguo de Brasov - Piata Sfatului. El apartamento reside en un edificio de 1890, la Casa Mandl, y tiene una vista magnífica de la plaza, con la Iglesia Negro (Iglesia Negra) a la izquierda y la Casa del Consejo (Casa Sfatului) a la derecha.

El apartamento está situado en la primera planta (con código de la puerta, sin ascensor) y cuenta con todo lo que uno puede necesitar para una estancia de lujo en Brasov. La habitación principal es de 40 metros cuadrados y cuenta con una sala de estar con un sofá y dos sillones, televisión de alta definición de 42 pulgadas con satélite (más de 100 canales, incluyendo Inglés, alemán, italiano, ruso), Reproductor de DVD, conexión WiFi, zona de cocina totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos Miele (nevera, lavavajillas, horno microondas, cocina eléctrica), área de comedor con capacidad para seis personas, y mucho más.

El apartamento también cuenta con una zona de loft precioso, donde se encuentra el dormitorio. Una segunda habitación ofrece una cama doble plegable y espacio de almacenamiento para su ropa y equipaje. El baño está cubierto de color cálido caliza Vratza y tiene un diseño minimalista. Incluye ViIleroy & Boch WC y lavabo y una ducha Hansgrohe Raindance. Todo dentro es nuevo y superior de la línea hecho en estilo renovación moderna. Este apartamento es el último lujo que Brasov tiene que ofrecer en el lugar más encantador absolutamente central.

Construido durante el Imperio Austro-Húngaro en 1890 por David Mandl y Rosa Aron, la casa fue utilizada por un banco (Societatea Bancara Romana) en 1930 y del mal adaptado para trabajar vivienda de clase durante la década de 1950. La puerta de metal precioso, las ventanas de las puertas del edificio, y los pisos balcón, todavía llevan la inscripción SBR (Societatea Bancara Romana). Hemos conservado y restaurado las grandes puertas dobles y el viejo parquet - que pueden rechinar las llantas y agrietarse bajo sus pies.

Este diseño ultra lujosa y apartamento recientemente reformado, está situado en el corazón del distrito histórico de Brasov justo al lado de la plaza principal de Piata Sfatului y cerca de las atracciones del centro de Brasov, incluyendo la conocida Iglesia Negra, que está cruzando la plaza. Decenas de restaurantes, cafeterías y discotecas están muy cerca.

Best location if you want to be in City Center with the view of "Piata Sfatului" and the Tampa

Very easy access, the owners response is quick, the property is above the Piata Sfatului, view of the Plaza and Black Church. Super center and all the restaurants and shopping is right there. Easy access to rope street and Tampa mountain. Summertime you will need some ventilation and the use of the blackout curtain, the remote is mounted on the wall by the windows btw. There is a full spa next door and we had a great massage. The property is fully loaded with all kitchenette. There is a washer and also a dishwasher and an iron is outside by the hallway. Could be useful to put together a little welcome booklet on how to use the appliances and window curtains, we figured everything out in 2 days but for the ones they only staying for couple of days so they don't waste time with the german appliances/booklets :) This is our second time staying there and we love it. We will definitely come back again! Thank you!!

Divine, luxurious, cultural, classy

Family stay with 5 year old twins over Christmas and New Year 2013. Truly Atmospheric. Travelling from Dubai for the picture postcard Christmas feeling, we were not disappointed. THE Christmas tree and picture postcard Christmas ambiance directly from our apartment windows - delightful. The apartment is stunningly beautiful and lovingly restored complete with original parquet flooring. Returning to such inviting accommodation following a days skiing in very nearby Poiana Brasov was a delight. Pristine modern bathrooms, great showers, fluffy towels, percale sheets, wonderful attention to detail. Well equipped kitchen allows preparation of simple family food. Owners, Adrian and Miheala were incredibly helpful down to the smallest detail. For more than 2 guests, we would recommend taking 2 apartments with an option on daily cleaning for a reasonable cost. Claudius, the owner of the taxi company recommended by the owners was also very professional. We enjoyed nearby Poiana and had 5 days of ski lessons for our children. Marius at Interski is most helpful. In Brasov, we were lucky to happen upon a soiree with the Philharmonic conducting a masterclass - it was sensational - highly recommended. Puppet theatre is also a must. For children from 5 up to 18, Parc Adventura is great value, super and well organised outdoor activity for kids. Opens at 10am so go early and parents of kids under 7 wrap up warm as you are watching and not climbing!! Restaurants in Brasov we loved were Bistro Poarta Scheai 4, we had an excellent beautifully cooked dinner, Sergiana for Romanian and great fun, Guara Dulce (great food, great value, wonderful steak tartare & soups). Keller did not live up to reviews at all for us personally. In Poiana Brasov we enjoyed the novelty factor of Coliba Haiducilor. The beauty of Brasov is just how much it has to offer. A winter combination of skiing/boarding/culture/quality childrens activities and good food is possible for good value. Staying in Adrian & Mihaelas sumptuous apartment made our trip truly memorable and infinitely calm and relaxing. Thank you!

Fiona, Tony and their two children spent two weeks over Christmas 2013 in our apartment in Brasov. They were our first guests after a major renovation and we were very excited they came. They organized everything to keep the place in good order and leave it in best condition. Fiona was very helpful with advice about improving the experience of future guests. We are glad they had a good time in Brasov and hope they will visit again.

Great place. Great location!

My family and I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in July 2015. It was great. The apartment is centrally located in the heart of the public square and walking distance from everything. We parked our car the day we arrived and never used it until we left. The apartment is super clean and very functional. Tons of TV channels in Romanian and English. My personal favorite part was the shower, and the 'rain' showerhead - awesome! We stayed with small children which wasn't a problem at all. My only caution is for those that may want a quieter location; the 3 nights we stayed, the square was set up as a movie theater and showed movies each night projected on a huge picture screen . The volume was quite loud. One night, the movie dragged on until almost 1am. Outside of that, everything was perfect.

If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Brasov, this is the right place

We thought that our winter vacation is almost ruined after a failed night in a hotel in Poina Brasov that our 1.5 year old toddler didn't like at all. But we managed to book this apartment for the following nights and everything turned just perfect. The location is fantastic and as central as it can be, with the view over the Piata Sfatului and the Black Church, just next to the pedestrian street with lots of restaurants and shops. Every morning we saw an amazing sunrise and lots of pigeons that our son was happy to watch the first thing in the mornings. As it is in the center, it's a bit difficult to find a parking place, but Kinga, who was in charge of meeting us, was so nice to join us to the nearest parking place and help us with the parking. It is also very close to Poiana Brasov (just 15 min drive), so we easily managed to go to the slope every day. The apartment is also very comfortable, luxurious and clean, with well equipped bathroom and kitchen. We were especially happy about the kitchen as I managed to cook some basic food for my son who turned to be allergic to the restaurant food that we tried the previous day. They also gave us a mobile phone with a local number so that we could call them for any questions, which was really helpful. For our next trip to Brasov or Poiana Brasov this is the only accommodation that we are going to consider. Many thanks to the owners and the girl who met us! We will definitely visit Casa Mandl again!

Truly Outstanding

I can't even begin to do this apartment justice. We stayed for 3 nights with our 22 and 15 year old children. We wish we were staying longer. The apartment is actually even better than in the photographs on line if that can be believed. It overlooks the main square and waking to a blanket of snow, it just looks like a scene from a fairytale. We enjoyed catching the bus to the nearby skiing area, wandering around the old town and eating Langos and drinking vin fiert from the Christmas markets right outside the front door. The apartment is actually very very spacious. It was more than big enough for the 4 of us. It even has a washing machine which we found to be a real bonus. The beds are comfy, the apartment is toasty warm, the decor lovely, the shower amazing. If there is a better place to stay in Brasov I can't imagine it.

Great location

This VRBO rental was ideally located in the historic centre of Brasov and was a very well resourced and comfortable base from which to explore the city. The apartment itself was very spacious and if anything the photo's on the website under represented the room space available. The apartment was very clean and the owner himself was very helpful in answering questions in relation to the property and in ensuring that the visit itself was optimally supported by having a relative of his available locally to assist with all queries where neccessary.

The apartment resides in an 1890 building, Casa Mandl, and has a gorgeous view of the square, with the Black Church (Biserica Neagra) to the left and the Council House (Casa Sfatului) to the right.

Built during the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1890 by David Mandl and Rosa Aron, the house was used by a bank (Societatea Bancara Romana) in 1930's and poorly adapted for working class dwelling during the 1950's. The beautiful metal gate, the windows from the building doors, and the balcony floors, still bear the inscription SBR (Societatea Bancara Romana). We have preserved and restored the large double doors and the old parquet - which may squeak and crack under your feet.
