About this property

Holiday flat near the sea on the Tuscan coast opposite the Island of Elba

Our house is just outside the town. You actually get the impression to be in the countryside, and not so close to the town, as the house is surrounded by meadows and olive trees. The house has a garden of about 3000 square metres. It is used for growing vegetables, but there are also trees and flowers. In the part of the garden close to the house there are pine trees that offer an especially pleasant place in the shade. The house was expanded about ten years ago - now the flat on the first floor is let to tourists that appreciate the location of the house und like Piombino because it is not a purely touristical place. By the way: We live on the top floor. The garden is ideal for children to play in and also for parents who would like to enjoy the sunshine or the shade, just as they prefer. There is also a terrace on which you can eat outside.

Wir, zwei Erwachsene und vier Kinder haben diesen Sommer hier Urlaub gemacht. Die Ferienwohnung ist einfach supertoll - großzügig, gemütlich, gut ausgestattet und dazu nicht weit vom netten Städtchen Piombino und vom Meer. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten wirklich eine schöne Zeit. Wir kommen wieder. Danke für alles!!!

Großzügige Ferienwohnung - allerdings mit Einschränkungen

Eine großzügige FeWo, in der man sich eigentlich wohlfühlen könnte. Neben einem schönen Bad wurde auch die Küche vor einiger Zeit erneuert - sogar mit Kühlfach und Spülmaschine. Leider kann die Spülmaschine nicht guten Gewissens genutzt werden, da nur fünf normale Tassen vorhanden sind und bei der anhaltenden Wasserknappheit kann man ja schlecht nach jedem Essen die Spülmaschine laufen lassen. Auch wäre eine Ablagemöglichkeit in der Küche wünschenwert, zudem sind die Matratzen im Elternschlafzimmer nicht hart - sie sind einfach durchgelegen... Warum nur 2 von 5 Punkten? Leider haben wir nicht alle Bewertungen im Vorfeld so genau gelesen. Im August 2020 hatte bereits eine Bewohnerin einen Ameisenbefall gemeldet. Die Bewertung war auf italienisch, so dass wir diese nicht beachtet haben. Wir mussten leider während unseres Aufenthalts ebenfalls regelmäßig (etwa alle 2 bis 3 Tage) Ameisen bekämpfen. Bereits bei der Einweisung wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass dies ein Problem werden könnte. Nach drei Tagen die erste Ameisenstraße im Badezimmer, die mit dem beim "Check-in" gezeigten Ameisenspray bekämpft wurde. Bereits wenige Tage später ebenfalls an der Decke des Badezimmers entlang die nächste "Ameisenstraße". Da der im 1. OG wohnenden "Freund der Familie" nun abgereist war, haben wir dies selbst erledigt. Allerdings waren die Ameisen zwei Tage später auf dem Flur unterwegs - und zuletzt in der Küche (sogar in den Schränken mit den Lebensmitteln, der Arbeitsplatte sowie um Herd und Kühlschrank herum... Wir hatten nach den ersten Erlebnissen mit den Ameisen im Bad mit dem Ehemann der Vermieterin telefonischen Kontakt. Er hat uns angeboten, dass wir uns im Baumarkt gerne Ameisenköder kaufen könnten, damit die Ameisen "fachgerecht" bekämpft werden könnten. Die Kosten hierfür hätte er erstattet. Da es aber dann ja zunächst erstmal noch mehr Ameisen geworden wären, die mit dem Köder angefüttert worden wären haben wir egoistisch gedacht nach dem Motto "nach uns die Sintflut"... Wir hatten eigentlich einen entspannten Urlaub geplant und wollten uns nicht in die Materie der Ameisenbekämpfung einlesen. Leider haben uns die Ameisen und die ständige Sorge wo sie als nächstes auftauchen schlussendlich ziemlich genervt. Wir sind dann einen Tag früher als geplant abgereist... Man kann das Ameisenproblem aus unserer Sicht nicht nur auf die Trockenheit schieben und wir scheinen nicht die einzigen Feriengäste mit diesem Problem gewesen zu sein.. Schade eigentlich!

Gesamtbild

Häuschen super. Betten etwas hart, passt aber im großen und ganzen. Zum Strand muss man fahren ist aber nicht weit. Haben alle angeschaut, da gibt's für jeden was. Der penny hat sogar Sonntags offen und hat frisches Pesto an der Theke. Tolle weingüter kann man auch hier anfahren. Die Preise sind fair. Piombino selbst ist klein aber fein. Gute Restaurants und Bars in der Innenstadt.

Es war alles grossartig.

Einfach aber gut

Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet was wir für 4 Personen und 2 Kinder gebraucht haben. Zum Glück auch mit Fliegengittern. Die Räume sind gut geschnitten und man hat viel Platz. Es liegt ausserhalb und es ist sehr ruhig dort, das haben wir sehr genossen.

Wunderschön - wir kommen wieder

Die Ferienwohnung ist rundum super, gut ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Durch die Fliegengitter und Rolläden kann man sowohl die Hitze als auch die Stechmücken prima fernhalten. Ein Auto ist natürlich notwendig, aber so erreicht man in einigen Minuten das Zentrum von Piombino, zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und vor allem: die schönsten Sandstrände! Der Kontakt im Voraus und bei der Ankunft war sehr nett und informativ, wir danken für die Gastfreundschaft und kommen sicher wieder!

Es war super, wir kommen immer wieder !!

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, wir fühlen uns dort wie Zuhause . Der Garten ist super... man kann dort ganz ungestört relaxen, grillen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. 5-10 min. mit dem Auto zum Meer runden die Sache ab. En unvergessliches und für uns immer wiederkehrendes Erlebnis. Alles in allem so schön dass wir 2015 unsere Silberhochzeit dort feiern werden. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft, wir sehen uns !

FeWo San Rocco - Piombino

Die Ferienwohnung war in sauberen und guten Zustand. Wir haben uns ohne Probleme eingelebt und im Umfeld gut zurechtgefunden, sodass wir den oben wohnenden Vermieter nicht belästigen mussten. Obwohl die Wohnung sehr ruhig außerhalb gelegen ist, erreicht man das Zentrum Piombinos, in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem PKW. Wir haben uns auf jeden Fall sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
