Upper Residence — Bright, Airy, and Spacious
The upstairs level serves as the heart of Hunter’s Knoll, featuring abundant natural light throughout, enhanced by large windows that create an open, airy atmosphere across the main living areas. The spacious modern kitchen is beautifully designed with updated finishes, generous counter space, and full appliances — perfect for preparing group meals or gathering over coffee before exploring Savannah. Guest Access:
The entire home is setup for your use. We have two parking spaces in the rear parking lot dedicated for you. More details will be sent in the check-in instructions.
The Neighborhood:
Located just a short stroll from the iconic Forsyth Park, Hunter’s Knoll places you in one of the most desirable and walkable areas of Savannah’s Historic District. Start your mornings with coffee or brunch at The Collins Quarter at Forsyth, located directly inside the park and known for its Australian-inspired café menu and scenic outdoor seating. Another neighborhood favorite, Clary’s Cafe, offers classic Southern breakfasts just minutes away, while guests looking for an elevated dining experience love the seasonal Southern cuisine at The Collins Quarter. For a true Savannah tradition, enjoy unforgettable Southern comfort food at Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room, also nearby.
Art, history, and culture are all within easy reach. Spend the afternoon exploring the renowned Telfair Museums, one of the oldest public art institutions in the South, or step into the city’s past at the Savannah History Museum. A short ride brings you to the lively waterfront along River Street and the vibrant shops, galleries, and entertainment venues of City Market.
From peaceful morning walks beneath Savannah’s famous oak-lined squares to evenings dining at award-winning local restaurants, the surrounding neighborhood offers the perfect blend of historic charm, culinary experiences, cultural attractions, and effortless walkability — making Hunter’s Knoll an ideal home base for weddings, group getaways, SCAD visits, and unforgettable Savannah vacations.
Getting Around:
There is a FREE shuttle that gets you around town right at Forsyth Park - just walk straight over toward Drayton and by Huntington/Drayton you will see the DOT stop! Uber/Lyft is probably the most convenient form of transportation around town, as parking can be a little crazy. It's usually about $5-7 to get to City Market/Bay Street. There is also a FREE City-ran "uber" called the Downtowner. Download the app and call a driver for free (tips welcomed).
