The property is just too close to the highway. It is extremely loud. The home was clean, and had great space for what we needed. We just couldn’t get over how loud the traffic was.
Wonderful, new property near Asheville. Accomodations were lovely. Easy access to property and no problems with checking in. Thank you for making the space available to us!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Had everything we needed and more. Lots of little extras. Very clean and conveniently located!
Would highly recommend this house and hope to go back again.
The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need! The hot tub (and the whole house) was very clean. The property manager is really friendly, great with communication, and made our trip very smooth. I would definitely recommend.
Such a lovely cottage - very clean and modern. Easy access to the Blue Ridge mountain parkway. Hot tub was amazing lovely to have at the end of the day with beautiful views. You can hear the traffic from the road but we were aware beforehand and it didn’t spoil our outside enjoyment.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to hosting you again, soon!
The house is clean, well stocked, the owner very responsive and generous with his supplies. The house is close to a road which is idea for easy access to Chimney Rock area and Asheville, Sadly, Occasionally it got a bit noisy due to road construction.
Not too close or too far from Asheville. All the amenities were in brand new condition. Everything we needed.

This was such a fun place to stay! The house has everything you can think of - a full kitchen with 3 different ways to make coffee, two full bedrooms and bathrooms, TVs in every room including the deck, and to top it off, a hot tub on the back deck with a quaint mountain view. Just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway made it an ideal location. Super clean and beautifully decorated. Can’t recommend it enough!

The house was very clean and it’s very convenient to The Biltmore House and Downtown Asheville. We went snow tubing at Zip-N-Slip, which was about a 35 minute drive from the house. Snow tubing was really fun for the kids and adults. The restaurant recommendations that were provided with the house were fantastic! We went to Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack, White Duck Taco Shop, Biscuit Head, and Barleys Taproom and Pizzeria… they were all excellent! We enjoyed the hot tub in the deck and the house had everything we needed. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to Asheville!

Our stay was wonderful! The house had everything you needed to have a great stay. There were no details missed. I do have to say we didn’t realize how close the house was to the road. The noise from the road was too loud. The check in process was fine except we were given the wrong address entered a house that we did not rent. We were told the wrong address and details were sent incorrectly.

Very comfy but next to a loud highway
This place was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing but I wish I had known beforehand that it's positioned over a loud and busy highway. I was taken aback because I was expecting and hoping for a super quiet location. Also the towels were low quality.
But I still enjoyed my stay. I wore earplugs whenever I was in the hot tub to block the road sound and I had a great time. The kitchen was great and the bed was super soft and comfortable, and obviously the hot tub was excellent.

Highway Noise Not Worth It
This home is very comfortable, contemporary and clean and the owners were great. However, the proximity to the highway and the incedibly loud noise of passing trucks and cars made it impossible to enjoy the porch. We could not hear one another talk while on the porch, and I could even hear the passing cars and trucks while I was in the shower. If you want to drop your bags and spend most of your time in Asheville and don't care about noise or being so near a 4-lane highway, then this might be a good fit. If you want to enjoy the porch peacefully and privately, then pass on this property.

Hi Mary,
Thank you for your honest review of this home. While we try to make it as clean and comfortable as we can for our guests, the physical location is something we cannot change and we are sorry to hear it wasn't to your expectation. The highway below is one that takes you from Asheville to Chimney Rock, so the traffic is mainly for traveling from Asheville to Fairview. Usually it is busier during the daytime and is quieter in the evenings. We would love to have you visit another one of our properties in the future. You can contact us at any time to help you work through how suitable a home would be for what you are looking for. We appreciate your honesty but would have liked a little higher rating than 2 stars though. It is a beautiful home and we do our best to make our guests experiences pleasant.
