Gorgeous, Beautifully Styled Marina 3 BR, 2 BA Condo

Beautifully styled flat/condo (two unit building), one block off Chestnut Street restaurants/boutiques (Starbucks, La Marais bakery, bank, cleaners etc. all within a few blocks). This is a quiet location, private entrance, bottom flat walk-up (friend owns the top flat). Enjoy a stroll for spectacular views of the Golden Gate bridge from the Marina Green or the lush park atmosphere of the Presidio (Crissy Field with beachfront/views of GGB, "Main Post" with "Off the Grid" Sundays, museum, YMCA with pool etc.) and Ft. Mason (with "Off the Grid" Friday nights, restaurants, great views) only a few blocks away. Or better yet, use the bikes in the garage and enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the Bay/Crissy Field without challenging the hills of San Francisco! Funston Park (George Moscone Recreation Center) blocks away with tennis, indoor basketball and field sports.

This pristine, two level flat features 3 sunny bedrooms (1BR-king, 1BR-queen, 1BR-double)/ 2 baths (1 with tub/shower, Master BR-walk-in shower), master suite looks out to a beautiful, sunny, patio/back yard with a grill and fire pit (exclusive use of backyard) and an attached garage with parking for one car. Washer/dryer in unit. Building was recently completely remodeled with hardwood floors, high end kitchen appliances, wine cabinet, 55' flat screen TVs (living room and master bedroom, HDMI connection), cable with wireless internet connection. Unit was newly furnished with designer furniture, accessories, luxury bedding etc.

We have a policy of no children guests under the age of 6.

With bookings of 30 days or more there is a ten percent (10%) discount. This is inclusive of taxes, the use of one standard car parking spot and the use of three bikes.

Nice Place in a Great Location

The apartment was clean and well appointed. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. The location is great. It's a few blocks to the bay and a few blocks from the shops and restaurants on Chestnut.

Great place to stay in SF

We visit San Francisco every year and this is the best condo we have stayed in SF so far. Completely renovated 2-story apartment on a quiet street with a nice garden in the back. Kitchen is well stocked and there is a Safeway nearby in case you want to cook. plenty of towels and blankets. And the best of all - Fort Mason Park is a 5-minute walk away! We will definitely keep this place in mind for our future visits.

The property was perfect! It’s very rare to go to an apartment and the website pictures are exactly what you’ve got. Beautifully decorated and furnished and had everything you need. Great location too! The only negative comment I have about the property were the neighbours upstairs. At times they were so so loud - music, talking even shouting. They also parked in front of the garage so we couldn’t use it and due to the late hour couldn’t ask them to move. Not very considerate of others during our whole stay!

Beautiful SF

Wonderful flat. Updated, clean, comfortable and great location. Quick walk to Marina greens, fort mason, chestnut street, union street or fisherman’s wharf. Ideal location with bus stops close if going to Presidio, North Beach or China Town. A favorite part of town for us and felt very lucky yo revisit while staying in such a lovely flat. Would love to come back and would highly recommend .

A lovely flat- with a garage!

David’s flat was beautifully appointed, comfortable and well located. The flat had a fully equipped kitchen, high quality linens, good washer and dryer, a lovely backyard, and was very quiet. This was a gorgeous condo that was every bit as nice, or nicer, than the VRBO posting showed. The place is modern, spacious, well furnished, with nice decorations, and a kitchen well stocked with all the materials we needed for cooking. The location in the marina was close to everything. And the host was excellent. Incredibly responsive when we had any sort of questions.

Perfect For Our Needs

A very well-appointed and stylish flat in a good part of the city. Only 15 minutes walk to the Hyde Street Cable Car Terminus, 2 minutes to Great Meadow Park and 10 minutes to Safeway. Less than an hour's drive from SFO, and well-placed for access to the Presidio, Golden Gate Park and Marin County.

Amazing house, wonderful stay

The property was absolutely lovely and as described. The backyard was such a nice outdoor space. I really appreciated the parking, and even used the bikes to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. Very comfortable to come back to the condo/apt after a long day of touring the city and beyond. Great space!!

Condo and neighborhood were perfect in every way!! More than enough space for the 4 adults and 2 teens living there for a full week. Neighborhood was beautiful and we are already talking about booking our next trip soon. Communication with owner was super easy and he was very responsive. At checkin we noticed a small gas leak from the stove and the owner took care of it expeditiously and even came to the property to meet the technician just in case we were not there .

Master’s Graduation

My family stayed at Dave’s, who was always easy to contact and communicate with, for my daughter’s graduation at USF. I found the property to be nicer than the pictures. So clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything you’d need. The only downsides I can think of is the downstairs Wi-Fi doesn’t work and the neighbors upstairs will come knocking on your door if you’re too loud.

Beautiful SF apartment

This is a beautifully decorated and spacious apartment in a very walkable part of the city, a mere 2 blocks from a lovely park (and grocery store), probably the best Vrbo experience we have ever had. Exceedingly well appointed, wonderful kitchen with everything we could possibly have needed. Having 2 BRs on the main floor and 1 garden BR on the lower floor kept it quiet and afforded privacy for a family member working remotely. The home was immaculate and organized, and David was an excellent host; very clear and easy check-in, and he provided lots of recommendations of things to do in the area. Most definitely will be back!

Great Stay in San Francisco

David's house was the perfect spot for our family during our mini vacation to the bay area. The house was exactly as described and pictured - maybe even better! The place was exceptionally clean and very well stocked upon our arrival....probably the best vacation rental we've ever had. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was exceptional (loved the Jura espresso maker), and the backyard patio was an incredibly relaxing place to unwind at the end of the evening with a glass of wine. And I haven't even mentioned location. Walkable to nearly everything you'd need or want - and if walking isn't your thing, there is almost no where in the city that can't be reached via a $10 Uber/Lyft ride. What a great place for our family - wish we could have stayed longer - and we can't wait to return!

Jan and I lived outside of SF in San Mateo Park for almost 30 years before retiring and moving to SF in the beginning of 2019. Before San Mateo we lived in various neighborhoods in SF and always loved the Marina. We also have a property in Sonoma which can be seen at vrbo.com/1461919.

Why they chose this property

We bought the property with one of our best friends (she has the upper unit, we have the lower unit). We love the beauty of the unit and location. Besides being incredibly convenient to Chestnut Street (one block, bus downtown one-half block), the Presidio, Union Street, Crissy Field, Fort Mason are close by.

What makes this property unique

Loved the backyard which has been completely fixed up with gas fireplace, propane heater, furniture etc.
