The balcony closure is due to ongoing construction, and for safety reasons, it must remain off-limits at this time. All guests are notified of this construction and the temporary balcony restriction at the time of booking, so expectations are clear in advance. We appreciate your understanding and patience while this necessary work is being completed.

Awesome stay

The condo was very clean and love the beach theme! Definitely recommend and the Back porch restaurant is walking distance literally in the back on the beach! Love it will come back!

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful condo. Great beach access. 50 feet from our favorite restaurant in Destin (The Back Porch) and just a few blocks to one of our favorite family hangouts (The Track)

We have stayed at Sterling Shores for at least the last ten years and this was by far the best condo we have booked. Loved the decorating style. Would love to stay there every July 4th if available.

Beautiful placed to get away.

This Condo is in Great location. There is shopping and entertainment as well as restaurants all within walking distance. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. We were there in October. The weather and amount of people there were perfect.

Wonderful spring break for family

It was relaxed, not terribly crowded. A wonderful trip all around. The staff was super friendly, although I didn’t need to contact them for anything. I’d definitely go back!

Great condo

This was very close to the beach and within walking distance of a ton of places including Walmart if you needed anything. The condo was super clean and we had one problem with the smoke detector batteries being low so it was beeping but the maintenance team came right out and fixed it quick. Super convenient and very clean place to stay at. No problems!

Love Sterling Shores

Great condo and location. My toddler loved the pool. We usually stay at Sterling Shores when we come to Destin. Condo was wonderful, just needed a skillet for cooking and needs a new iron. Other than that great place.

Taking a break...

We rented this condo as a last minute trip. We love Sterling Shores conveniences and have stayed in various condos there. Comfortable beds, clean furniture, responsive team to some issues. Overall a great experience.

My stay at Sterling Shores

I enjoyed my stay at Sterling Shores, the view was amazing. My only issue was the master bedroom bed it sinks in the middle which caused a uncomfortable sleep . Otherwise this condo is perfect !

Great location

This place was in a great location with a spacious family room and kitchen area. The second bedroom was extremely small with no closet. 2 people would never fit in there. The baseboards and corners needed a good cleaning.

Nice but alittle small

The unit was clean and stocked ok. The bedrooms are alittle small. No where to put your luggage and get to it easily. The complex is nice and pools where good size. Beach access is ok. Will stay at complex again but in a bigger unit next time.

August 2018 Stay

Our family had a great time. The condo was beautiful. Everything was new. Beds very comfortable even the sleeper sofa. The location was perfect. Walk to restaurants and stores. The kids loved walking to the candy and ice cream shop! The beach is right there no long walk, pools were perfect. The staff treated us like family. Did not want to leave. Definitely will be back.

Visit to Destin

The property was great. As for unit 315, overall it was nice. The plastic shower curtain in the master should be disposed of and the bed in the master sinks & very uncomfortable. The unit could benefit from a deep cleaning & vacuum of the living room furniture which had plenty of sand on the sofa & recliner.

the good: very good location close to beach, AC worked great, grounds were nice, balcony had nice view of poolthe bad: master bed had box springs on platform so was way too high, had to climb up to bed nightly, secondary mattress was caving in, none of the 2 pools were heated, but, we made it work, there was a coffee maker, but, no filters or coffee, so, that was a bust. no outdoor patio furniture, there is a wonderful view out there, such a shame, ceiling fan in master couldn't adjust because was missing cordsummary, property can be a really great spot, but, needs to make some upgrades starting with bedding, TVs, furniture, basic coffee setup like filters, I would not stay here again as there are too many better options

Not worth the money

Dirty, tv was broken, and private beach was a joke. So not recommend staying there and we won't again.

Destin - June 2020

We really enjoyed our stay at Sterling Shores, it’s a beautiful property at a great and convenient location. Apartment 315 where we stayed is in great condition except for the mattress in the master bedroom. It is in bad shape and in need of replacement. It buckled and has a heavy drop in the middle and it made it uncomfortable for my wife and I to get a good night sleep. As soon as the mattress is replaced, I would definitely recommend it for a future stay. Thank you.

Beautiful condo but several minor complaints

There was not much of a "check in process". Nothing to familiarize yourself with the property. We had numerous things missing from our condo. We couldn't check in early because housekeeping was doing their "final inspection". I don't think that was the case as there was personal belongings left in bathroom drawers & a dirty patio with soda cans. Despite all the issues, we may consider returning. The location is great! Quick access to the beach.
