The Space:

Just west of the Gulf Place public beach entertainment area in Gulf Shores, Driftwood Towers is a serene and relaxing yet fun and welcoming condominium complex.



A sparkling outdoor swimming pool faces the Gulf of Mexico with its sea oat-covered dunes and expansive beachfront area that provides ample space for vacationing families to build sandcastles, splash in the Gulf, stroll underneath the starry sky and simply enjoy spending time together.



You'll find everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals in your condo's fully equipped kitchen and dining area, but if you enjoy cooking and dining outdoors, a grilling area is located on site.



Each individual condo features its own private balcony giving you the option to extend your living space outdoors, watch the sun rise and set each day, and relax to the sounds of the surf, seagulls and happy families playing below.

The grounds were well maintained. The door # was not listed on my reservation or any emails that I received. I contacted customer service via the app and also called Avari. After being on hold for over 10 minutes, we gave up and started putting our code into every door. We were finally able to get it. It was the last door on that floor. The pics online were beautiful. However, the unit needs a deep cleaning, including the walls and carpet. The hall bathroom has mold at the top of the shower insert. It looks really bad. If this hasn't been addressed already, I would figure it out quickly before it spreads and/or a leak causes more damage. I did appreciate the very minimal clean up list that was provided. We only had to strip the sheets and Avari did the rest.

This condo needs some serious updates. Paint chipped on walls / baseboards and furniture - linens not matching / single beds are on their last legs and need to be replaced. Just kind of dingy overall. have mercy - the Fans that come on automatically with the lights switch in both bathrooms was ANNOYINGLY loud. The bathroom also had 70s toilets very very low to the ground, not good for anyone with bad knees or elderly.The smell when you first walk in is not inviting. The Pool was not clear and not very clean. I would not have let my kids swim in it. Expected much more for 900.00 for 2 days.It was clean. The view was great. It was right next door to yummy Bahama Bob's. Plenty of pots and pans (bring non stick spray) Love the Round dinning table, great for playing games! If I could have I would have given it a 3.5 - not 4.
