About the host
Hosted by Audriana Duvall
I’ve lived in Baltimore for over 10 years and genuinely love this city. I’m a graduate student and work in public service during the day, and I also run a small media production company — so I stay busy, but I’ve always believed that where you stay matters just as much as where you go.
I created this space to feel calm, thoughtful, and intentional-- the kind of place I’d want to land after a long day of travel. I value privacy and quiet, so I extend the same respect to my guests. If you need recommendations, I’m happy to share my favorite coffee shops, restaurants, and local gems but otherwise, I’ll give you space to enjoy your stay uninterrupted.
Baltimore has character, grit, and heart — and I hope you leave appreciating it the way I do.

Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it strikes a balance that’s hard to find in the heart of the city quiet, residential, and peaceful, while still being close to everything.
We’re tucked into a park-adjacent area with tree-lined streets and easy parking (which is rare in Baltimore), but just minutes from public transportation and a short drive to Fells Point, Harbor East, and downtown. It’s ideal if you want to explore the city during the day and come home to somewhere super calm and quiet at night.
What I enjoy most is how livable it feels. Mornings are quiet. Evenings are relaxed. You don’t get bar-crawl noise, but you’re close enough to enjoy it if you want to.

What makes this property unique
This space was intentionally designed — not assembled quickly to “just list it.” I renovated and styled the basement to be somewhere I would genuinely want to live after my child leaves the nest. Because of that, I didn’t cut corners or “cheap out” on finishes or furnishings. Everything in the apartment is something I personally selected and fully plan to use in the future.
That means a comfortable queen bed (not a budget mattress), practical and durable furniture, a real dining setup for two, a functional electric stove, quality kitchen basics, and thoughtful storage so the space feels livable rather than temporary.
It’s a fully furnished private studio with a separate entrance, full laundry access, fenced yard access, and abundant free parking. Utilities are included, and the property is licensed for short-term rental use — so it’s maintained intentionally and responsibly.
Design-wise, I leaned into a warm, boho aesthetic that feels inviting but uncluttered. The space is calm, clean, and thoughtfully arranged — not overcrowded.
Most importantly, it’s quiet. After 10pm, the property is peaceful and respectful. This is ideal for solo travelers, working professionals, or guests who want a comfortable retreat rather than a party atmosphere.
