You can drive up to the Bunkie all year round unless your vehicle has especially low clearance. If there has been a lot of snow the private road from the street to the Bunkie is not plowed. Depending on the type of vehicle you are driving, you may have to park at the gate entrance and walk in (4-5min walk) to get to the Bunkie.
There is a wood fireplace in the Bunkie for sleeping, it will keep you very toasty.
