Let the sounds of the ocean waves welcome you to this relaxing oasis located in the heart of Cannon Beach's desirable West Presidential Neighborhood. Perfectly situated between downtown Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock, you will find everything right out your front door. Take a sixty second stroll to the beach for some fun and relaxation, or take a leisurely walk into town along Ocean Drive as you enjoy the breathtaking sites and sounds of the ocean, Haystack Rock, and the Tillamook Lighthouse.

Back at home, you will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. 'The Beach House' has you covered: from lounging on the extra large living room couches with a roaring fire and watching the sunset and the waves roll in to cooking up a feast in the fully stocked kitchen while you listen to the surf. End your day with a soak in the hot tub and nestle into the sprawling couches with a streaming movie or TV show of your choosing with access to thousands of titles.

With two bedrooms upstairs and the Master downstairs* (with a living room pullout), this home is a unique size for many different visitors. Lovely beach cottage

Enjoyed our stay at the beach house. Perfect location to everything Cannon Beach has to offer. We did encounter some issues during our stay and the property manager was extremely responsive and accommodating for the inconvenience.

Very happy I booked this house. Location was perfect…. Short walk to downtown cannon beach for everything needed. 50 feet from the beach entrance was great. House had everything we needed and was in a great street. Hot tub and all amenities were great. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect. Nicely decorated, clean with modern kitchen. Location was incredible. Stunning views of the dunes and beach and within walking distance to downtown shops, breweries and restaurants. We’ll be back!

Great Little Vacation

This beach cabin is super cute! Has all the amenities you need! Awesome hot tub and fire pit on the deck to end a fun beach day with family! Short jaunt over a sand dune and you’re at the beach! Friendly neighbors! Highly recommend!!

Beach House Get-Away

Wow, the "Beach House" is very cozy, with historic charm, modern appliances, and classy furnishings. And the LOCATION can't be beat. Beach access is right there and it's any easy walk to both the north and south ends of the town center. We had a minor issue with the TV upon arrival, but the owner and local property manager were quick to respond and very helpful. I would very much like to rent this property again.

Fun place to stay

The house is comfortable and very well equipped. Short walk to town and Haystack Rock. Really enjoyed our daily walks. It's a great location close to Ecola State Park and Hug Point. We did have an issue with the wifi as the password was not included in the Arrival Information. Called Customer Service who connected me with the owner & got the password. She said it was an oversight & would be corrected. There really should be instructions on how to work the heating unit in the living area. There are lots of "mode" symbols that meant nothing to us and it was set to Celsius (°C) rather than Fahrenheit (°F) We'd recommend it for a great beach vacation.

Perfect

We go to Cannon Beach every summer, and stay at different places each time. This house was great as it was steps to the beach, and a short walk into town to shop and eat. There were 2 bedrooms upstairs that we didn't need, but would be great for another couple of a few kids. We had our senior dog with us which was great. Her hips are starting to weaken, and it was a little tough for her as there is no carpet or rugs to keep her for sliding, but it makes sense from a cleaning standpoint. The hot tub was a bonus (I hadn't seen it in pictures) and I was pleased when the guy came to clean it. Reassured me that it was regularly cleaned! The stove top worked, but the oven did not. FYI. Otherwise it was a wonderful 9 days!

Beach House stay

We very much enjoyed our Beach House stay. The host was highly responsive to our needs, although there were only a couple of asks, both were responded to quickly. The house itself suited our family of four and a small dog very well. The location was great and literally one minute walk to the beach. Our only complaint was something beyond the hosts' control. The house was/is basically surrounded by construction work, renovations on other houses in the area. During our week we were subjected to virtually non-stop hammering or drilling or sawing or grinding or back-up beeping from construction equipment and/or fumes from organic materials being applied to ductwork. The immediate neighbor had a guy working by torchlight as late as 10pm on a couple of nights. Clearly this was suboptimal and made hanging out at the house a less viable option. To be fair we didn't come to Cannon Beach to hang out at our rental, but there were occasions when one wanted to just relax on the little front deck but were chased off by noisy, or smelly construction activities. This is why I cannot honestly give this property a 5-star overall rating; even though I gave the specific aspects about the house such as cleanliness, host, location etc. 5-star ratings.

Darling House - Great Beach Access

This place is perfect if the weather is great. The beach access is fantastic. Unfortunately, we had horrible weather and needed to stay in most of the time we were there. We even lost power in the house for hours. I had three issues. 1. The house was not very clean when we arrived. It was also really cold inside - colder than outside. I would recommend that someone turn on the heat an hour or so before the arrival of guests. 2. The TV was difficult (sometimes impossible) to work. Older guests like us want to turn the TV on and watch the local news and weather or sports. We could not do that. The directions given online before arrival were not helpful. The owner did respond to my request promptly and we got it to work the next day. (I bought batteries) Then it stopped working again. We took a remote from a bedroom and got it to work again. 3. Most significantly, the oven did not work. It was Christmas Day and we could not bake anything in it. We used the toaster oven to heat some breakfast rolls.

Beautiful historic house steps from the beach.

This beautiful historic house steps is only one house back from from the beach and the dune walkway. It is 5 to 6 blocks from the center of town, yet a quiet little area in the "Streets of Presidents". Two deck areas offer a pleasant outdoor space as well.

Super cozy, excellent location and responsive owner

Had a great stay at the beach house this week. Loved being able to step out our door, basically right onto the beach. We had a problem with the water heater and the owner took care of it as quickly as was possible. The place is definitely not spacious... five adults and a kid felt tight. I wouldn't recommend more than that unless you're really close. We'd stay there again.

Always love this house!

This was about the 7th time we have rented this adorable beach cottage. It is perfectly situated between the main downtown area of Cannon Beach and the southern restaurant & shopping area - easy walking distance to both. The best part is it is steps from the beach and Haystack Rock. Since our last stay, the owners remodeled the kitchen and bathroom - beautiful updates to both while maintaining the beach house/cottage vibe. A brand new large and comfy sofa was also added! Our family (and dogs) has accumulated many wonderful memories here: coffee on the deck in the morning (or cocktails at sunset), long beach walks several times a day, and campfires on the sand at night. All easily enjoyed and accessible from the Beach House!

Just Perfect

Adorable beach house, located right between the downtown and Haystack. A very short walk to everything. A couple of steps to the expansive beach and views forever. The house itself was cozy and very clean, plenty of room for everyone. We will be back, this property will be our annual summer getaway.

Tiny House with Low Ceilings

The location of this home is A+. Besides having a newly renovated kitchen, the house was a little beat up. The sofa sectional was filthy and should have been replaced along time ago. If you are tall be-warned the ceiling are low and halls narrow. We spend the first half of day 1 cleaning the place because it wasn't cleaned properly.

Lovely home! Everything we needed from a hot tub to super comfy beds and a great shower! Very clean, so cute and dogs allowed! We walked every where and were on only one house in from the beach! Fabulous trip, even our local neighbors were amazing! Would definitely stay again!

A wonderful month steps from the beach!

This was EXACTLY what we were hoping for when we booked a month's stay in Cannon Beach. The house is beautiful; it's cozy, but the space is really well utilized - we never felt like we were on top of each other. And it is literally steps to the beach, so we could go almost whenever we wanted. There were a few early hiccups, but we were really impressed with the responsiveness of the owners and the local couple who took care of both repairs and cleaning. We had an amazing trip and are already looking forward to our next visit.
