We really loved the old historical town of Magdalena! The home that we were lucky enough to get to stay in was perfect. We felt right at home. We are hoping to go back again and stay longer next time. It's a place of peace and tranquility. We appreciate our gracious host!

We had a great stay in Magdalena for the 4th of July weekend. It's a peaceful, quiet, out of the way, comfortable home. The front and back porches made it possible to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet, local bird population, and the views. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. We used the grill on the back porch every day of our stay. The backyard is fully walled-in, which made it nice to let the dogs out and not worry about them getting out and getting into mischief. If you aren't familiar with the area, make sure you plan your meals well and bring sufficient groceries. We bought ice, onion, and ice cream in the food mart in town, but other than that, we brought what we needed. Phone service was spotty around town, but we were able to use the wifi at the home for calls and internet. The host was very helpful, responded quickly, very pleasant, and helped make our stay relaxing. We would certainly consider staying again.
