Whether you’re seeking peace and quiet, an active vacation, or a family getaway, you’ll experience breathtaking views and unspoiled nature on certified hiking trails and designated mountain bike and cycling routes. For day trips, crystal-clear streams and romantic villages with historic buildings in the immediate vicinity are waiting to be discovered by you. Heringhausen and Lake Diemel are still (!) considered an insider’s tip.<br><br>August/2026 Terhaer <br>Everything was perfectly clean and beautifully furnished. The only thing missing was another armchair in the living room. The house is designed to accommodate up to 6 people; there were four of us. Two people can easily sit on the couch in the living room; there’s also an armchair and a stool without a backrest. That wasn’t comfortable—it just lacked the backrest. Any additional guests would have to use the chairs. The beds are simply fantastic! Comfortable chairs for long game nights with friends around the table! The sauna is a must in November—and it’s fantastic! We were a group of 6 friends and really enjoyed our time there! We were missing some glasses, so we called the property service, and they delivered them within 4 hours!
