This small holiday home complex is idyllically situated in a nature reserve in the hills and lakes of West Mecklenburg, about 18 km from the state capital of Schwerin. The seven-kilometer-long lake is a great spot for anglers and, thanks to its excellent water quality and sandy beach, also a wonderful swimming lake – even for the youngest guests. In the state capital of Schwerin, you can breathe in the city air and discover a wealth of interesting sights and attractions. The castle and castle gardens, Schwerin Cathedral, and the Schwerin State Theater are all absolutely worthwhile destinations. However, the best way to explore the beautiful surroundings is by hiking, cycling, or inline skating. A nearly 15 km long, first-class cycle path leads directly from Dümmer to Wittenburg, where there is also an adventure park with a climbing garden, a year-round indoor ski hall, and a quad and go-kart track.
