Das Haus ist qualitativ sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist etwas kritisch.Der Badesee eignet sich nicht wirklich (sehr viele Wasserpflanzen und Algen) und der Steg der Terrasse hat auch keine Leiter, die den Einstieg erleichtern würde. Unternehmungen in die Region sind ohne Probleme möglich. Die Städte Leeuwarden, Zwolle, Apeldoorn, Groningen und Assen sind sehr gut erreichbar.
