You’ve just made your coffee in the small kitchenette, enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in the living room, and now it’s time to set out on a tour of the island of Borkum. From “Appartement-Haus Regina,” it’s just a few steps to the beach promenade, where you can gaze out at the sparkling waves of the North Sea!
The walk to Borkum’s city center isn’t far either. Our “Seeschwalbe” apartment is centrally and conveniently located between the new lighthouse and the beach promenade, right next to the Gezeitenland and the Spielinsel—just the way you’d want a small vacation apartment on the North Sea.

Our “Seeschwalbe” vacation apartment on Borkum is 44 m² and is located on the first floor. You can relax wonderfully, especially on the beautiful south-facing balcony! Reading a thrilling vacation mystery novel here, daydreaming in the sun, and leaving everyday life behind is pure relaxation. Behind the house, there’s also a large garden with a sandbox that all guests of the house are welcome to use.

The Borkum vacation rental features two living/sleeping areas: The separate bedroom in the Borkum vacation rental includes a double bed and a coffee table with armchairs. We’d be happy to provide a crib upon request. If your children are too old for that by now, the sleeper chair can also be used as a sleeping option.

The living room features two full-size fold-out beds that are very easy to set up when needed, as well as a spacious and bright dining area located right next to the large window leading to the balcony.

You’ll also find a stylish bathroom with a shower, toilet, double sink, and hair dryer; a modern kitchenette (including a 2-burner induction stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, egg cooker, and toaster), and a sunny balcony. In addition to cooking for yourself, you can enjoy the culinary offerings of the nearby restaurants in Borkum’s town center or along the promenade—with an impressive sunset as a bonus to your dinner.

A flat-screen TV in the living room, another flat-screen TV with a DVD player in the bedroom, a radio/cassette/CD player, and free Wi-Fi ensure additional comfort during your vacation on Borkum.

Our “Seeschwalbe” apartment meets the three-star classification criteria of the German Tourism Association. It is ECARF-certified and therefore also suitable for people with allergies. For this reason, smoking is not permitted in the apartment, anywhere in the building, on the balconies or terraces, or in the stairwells. Unfortunately, pets are also not allowed in the apartment or in the building. The floors in the living room and bedroom are covered with hygienic and easy-to-maintain vinyl.

General Information: For doing laundry during your stay, a coin-operated washer and dryer are available in the building’s basement, along with an iron and an ironing board (for shared use). A crib and a high chair are gladly provided upon request. Bicycle storage is available.

Over 120 km of paved bike and hiking trails through largely unspoiled nature, as well as the seemingly endless white sandy beach, invite you to take long excursions on the island. Beach life has a family-friendly atmosphere and is made even more special by the typical Borkum beach tents.

Sports enthusiasts will discover a wide range of activities on Borkum: beach walking, beach volleyball, cycling, beach sailing, horseback riding, and tennis are just a few of the sports you can enjoy on the island.
