Spend the day exploring Smith Rock State Park (10 miles north), or Cline Falls Scenic Viewpoint (four miles east). Restaurants and coffee shops abound nearby for those days when you don't feel like cooking. Your dogs will enjoy the enclosed backyard, or a trip to one of the nearby dog parks, such as Weigand Family Dog Park, which is located only a mile away.
