THE RECREATION BARN- WHERE THE REAL FUN BEGINS

Just steps from the farmhouse, the detached Recreation Barn opens up an entirely new world of play. Take a dip in the indoor heated pool, no matter the season. Head to the sports ball gym for a friendly (or competitive) game of basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, or pickleball. And when it’s time to eat? Gather in Yorkview Commons, complete with a catering kitchen and spacious dining area- perfect for family-style meals, celebrations, or catered events. Outside, the large firepit and game area invites kids to burn off energy while the adults linger nearby, coffee or conversation in hand.

It was very clean and well thought out set up. We had a big family gathering and there were plenty of activities for all age groups and everyone loved staying here. Everything about the listing was very easy to follow and host took great care of us.

The BEST Family Vacation!

Our stay at Yorkview was absolutely perfect. If you've stayed with Rose before, you know that is to be expected :) My family loved touring all of the uniquely themed bedrooms before making their choices. The indoor pool was a hit, as was the gymnasium. We loved that the gymnasium provided all of the equipment for pickleball, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and more (and it was hilarious watching the adults play a serious game of dodgeball). Of course, all the teens loved the downstairs game room. Movie night in the theater room was also a hit. There was so much to do that we actually forgot to use the sauna, if you can believe it! My family always comments that no matter what you need, Rose has already thought of it. Forgot your toothbrush? - There were some in the closet. Spill something on your new dress (yes, that was me) - There were Tide to Go wipes by the washer. Forgot spices? - Yep, the spice cabinet is fully stocked. Reminiscing about using the big parachute during elementary class? - Yep, there's a parachute in the gymnasium LOL. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
