Completed in early 2022, new attic 3-room 70sqm modern chalet-style holiday flat with west-facing loggia and views of the Wetterstein massif with Alpspitze and Zugspitze. Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Wannerweg, 500m or 5min walk to GAP railway station with regional train, bus and ICE connections, 10min walk to Zugspitze railway station. The Zugspitzbahn cog railway goes directly to the Zugspitze or to the Eibsee. This is a non-smoking holiday flat.
Our new and modern top floor holiday flat is furnished to a very high standard throughout and offers very pleasant comfort for 4 people. Our chalet-style holiday flat is very cosy and exudes an alpine atmosphere thanks to the high wooden beamed ceilings (open roof truss), the skylights, the sustainable solid oak furniture and the parquet flooring made of pure natural oak wood with underfloor heating.
The Alpenglück-Garmisch holiday flat is located in a quiet side street near the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train and bus station, which you can reach via a 5-minute car-free walk (approx. 500m) and from which the Zugspitzbahn cable car also departs for the nearby hiking and skiing areas (Kreuzeck-Alpspitzbahn, Höllentalklamm near Hammersbach, Eibsee and Zugspitze ("Top of Germany").
This makes our holiday flat ideal for holidaymakers arriving by train or coach, for guests who do not have a car or prefer to leave it in the underground car park during their holiday. The Alpspitz-Wellenbad, the Hausberg ski area, the Eckbauerbahn as well as the Partnachklamm and the associated hiking area can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. On your doorstep you can access a holiday area that is one of the most popular in Bavaria and Germany.
A visitor's tax of EUR 3.00 (per day and adult) and EUR 1.00 (per day and child between 6 and 15 years) is payable to the municipality of Garmisch-Partenkirchen on arrival. In return, you will receive a guest card (Zugspitz-Arena Bayern-Tirol Card), which offers you many benefits and discounts, including free public transport in the region.

Wir haben uns als dreiköpfige Familie in der modernen und gemütlichen Dachwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist toll, Bahnhof und Zugspitzbahn quasi ums Eck, Restaurants und Läden zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad schnell erreichbar, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung perfekt und sehr durchdacht, alles da was man braucht, die Betten bequem, sogar eine Waschmaschine gibt es. Für uns ein großes Plus: der Tiefgaragenstellplatz und Fahrradkeller. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Kurz: Alles war einfach wunderbar!
