Here you can feel Mother Nature up close, but you live only 16 minutes by car from the town of Lyngdal, where you will find stores, shopping, restaurants and the bathing area Sørlandsbadet. The way to the coast is also not far, and there you can rent a boat and go to sea to explore the archipelago. Visit Tingvatn Park, which offers a glimpse into the life of the Norwegian Vikings. Changing cultural-historical exhibitions tell about the rough life of the Scandinavian people, and there is also a big meeting of the Vikings in May, where you can witness staged craftsmanship, everyday life and struggle of the times long gone.
