The Space:

Welcome to your private room at the Royal Barracks Guest House, a tribute to New Orleans' musical soul. The room features bold blue walls, a comfortable queen-sized bed, and portraits of legendary jazz musicians, creating a unique and vibrant atmosphere for your stay. It's the perfect retreat for up to two guests.

Just outside your door is our stunning shared courtyard. This lush, brick-paved patio is an exclusive oasis for our guests, shaded by mature Magnolia trees. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee, an evening cocktail, or connect with fellow travelers.



Guest Access:

Guests will have exclusive and private access to their own room and en-suite bathroom. Entry is convenient and secure with self check-in via a smart lock. All rooms are accessed through exterior corridors behind a dedicated, locked gate, ensuring your safety and privacy.



Additionally, all guests have full access to our beautiful and peaceful shared central courtyard, a popular place to hang out and relax.



The Neighborhood:

Famous for its vibrant energy and historic charm, the French Quarter offers something around every corner. Lively Bourbon Street is filled with jazz clubs, Cajun restaurants, and iconic cocktail bars, while quieter nearby streets lead to the French Market’s local shops and gourmet bites. Stroll to Jackson Square to enjoy street performers and artists gathered beneath the beautiful St. Louis Cathedral, one of New Orleans’ most recognizable landmarks.



Getting Around:

Shops, music venues, and beloved 24-hour eateries are all just steps away. The streetcar line and public transportation are within a few blocks (see the New Orleans RTA website for routes and schedules). Uber and Lyft are also readily available and offer an easy, affordable, and safe way to explore the Crescent City.



Other Things to Note:

This is a six-room guesthouse, operating similarly to a bed & breakfast, but we do not provide breakfast. Each room is booked individually.
