Beautifully remodeled home with stunning water views and unforgettable sunsets. Relax and enjoy the ever-changing scenery of the shipping lanes from this peaceful retreat designed for comfort and connection. This home is 15 minute from downtown Langley, 20 minute from downtown Coupeville, and 6 minutes from downtown Freeland.

Pet-friendly and thoughtfully appointed, the home features a hot tub, sauna, BBQ, fire table, pool table, EV charger, premium linens, cozy bathrobes, and fully stocked kitchen. Both levels offer fireplaces and TVs for relaxing evenings in.

Perfect for remote work or extended stays, the dedicated workspace includes dual monitors, a printer, and reliable high-speed WiFi.

The spacious layout includes two separate living rooms, three bedrooms, plus two additional queen sleeping areas, comfortably accommodating families and groups. Two full bathrooms feature rain shower heads, and the primary suite includes a soaking tub in the en suite bath.

Outside, enjoy a fenced yard for your furry friends and the peaceful surroundings of this quiet neighborhood. Deer are frequent visitors, often wandering peacefully by the property. With woods bordering one side of the home, you’ll enjoy exceptional privacy and tranquility.

Beach access is just down the hill via a nearby staircase, where adventure and relaxation meet. Take a refreshing cold plunge, explore the shoreline for sea life and beach treasures, or simply sit and watch for orcas, sea lions, and bald eagles. Whether you’re beachcombing at low tide or enjoying the salty air at sunset, the beach offers a true Pacific Northwest experience right outside your door.

Absolutely stunning home! The home was inviting and cozy. We really felt like hike for a few days and were extremely happy we chose to spend vacation here. The communication was unmatched and the hike was extremely clean and easy to navigate.

We just spent a wonderful week of special family time in this gorgeous home and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The house exceeded our expectations—it truly felt like a five-star hotel rather than a vacation rental. From the quality bedding, beautiful furniture and décor to the thoughtfully appointed kitchen, incredible views, and evenings stargazing from the hot tub, every detail made our stay feel special. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

This is first and foremost a beautiful water view property so much so it caught my breath each time I walked into the main living area. The house is also unusually well decorated with items I would love to have in my own home. Top all this with a sauna, hot tub and fire table to enjoy. Pinch me; this is a great way to relax for a few days!

Stina was the best! Great communication & responsiveness. Terrific recommendations, too, from a lifelong islander! The Sunset Sanctuary was perfect for our visit with 4 adults and 2 kids. Loved the view from the living/dining room, the path down to the beach, hot tub & sauna. Beds were super comfy, shower was hot and the stars shone brightly at night. A lovely stay on beautiful Whidbey Island.

We had an incredible stay at the Sunset Sanctuary to celebrate 2 milestone birthdays. The house was immaculate and the views were stunning! The home interior looked like it was professionally designed and it was equipped with everything that we needed. We spent most of our time on the deck and in the sauna. Our hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this home. We are already trying to plan a return trip!

Lovely sunset view, quiet, good amenities, and attentive host. We saw many bunnies and deer daily. Host accommodated both an early check in and later check out despite the back to back bookies.

this was a lovely home. the interior decorating is beautiful, the views off the deck and from the hot tub were stunning. kitchen was well stocked and was actually functional for cooking. plenty of room for our family if 6. easy access to walk along the beach. lots of thoughtful touches. would definitely recommend

We actually live just a few houses away from our vacation rental, and we absolutely love this peaceful neighborhood with spectacular views and friendly neighbors. I love providing a space for people to come experience the beauty, tranquility and magic of Whidbey Island. I know how busy city life can be, and it's so refreshing to have a place to come to in order to relax and recharge. I hope the Sunset Sanctuary is that place for you!

I have fully remodeled the property so everything is shiny and new. The view from the hot-tub, as well as many other areas, is absolutely stunning. The home is nestled between a wooded area and a rarely used summer home, so you hear almost nothing except birds chirping and ships passing by. It is so peaceful!
