About the accommodation
Anyone who makes it up the stone steps to the Casa Riale holiday home will be rewarded with a fabulous view of the Riviera del Gambarogno. And then the peace and quiet! Once you get up here, you won't want to leave. Thanks to the south-facing slope, the sun shines into the garden and onto the private terrace from morning to evening. Nevertheless, the house stays nice and cool even on hot days, as it is built into the mountain rock on the edge of the forest.

Important to know: There is a small stream with a rushing waterfall next to the house. What is pure relaxation for many can be dangerous, especially for younger guests. Children should therefore never play unsupervised near the waterfall. To get to the flat, you have to climb about 50 steps, which makes it less suitable for people with walking difficulties or the elderly.

Room layout
Casa Riale consists of two holiday flats, each with a separate entrance. The upper flat is ideal for four people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area with fireplace and two bedrooms. It also has a terrace with a seating area, fireplace and small lawn.

- Go on adventurous hikes through the dense forests in the surrounding area
- Immerse yourself in the medieval culture of Brione in a typical local grotto
- Visit the "Elisarion" art museum, which is already an attraction from the outside
- Conquer the mountain world of Cardada by cable car and on foot and enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the whole of Lake Maggiore and the Alps from Cimetta
- Refresh yourself in Locarno's wellness park or in the Lido on the lake
- Heat up the authentic garden fireplace and organise cosy barbecue evenings in front of the house

Location description: Location and connections
The house is ten minutes by car from Locarno and Tenero. The nearest bus stop is just under 500 metres away. A stone staircase with about 50 steps leads to the house. Be sure to plan for this when packing.
