Holiday home for nature lovers near the Twistesee lake
Situated close to a forest and a very short distance from the lake, you will find this attractive tent house where modernity meets rustic charm. The ceiling beams, sloping walls, cosy sofa area and warm colours combine to create a very special atmosphere. In the evening, chat at the dining table about the next day's excursions and afterwards savour the delicious homemade muffins on the sofas with the sweet berries you picked on yesterday's hiking tour. In the morning, you can hire a boat or set off on a hike in the nearby forest with a packed lunch in your rucksack.
You won't be bored in this area, where you can whizz through the forest on a mountain bike, play golf, hike and play mini golf with the little ones. In the small town of Bad Arolsen, you can experience beautiful culture and immerse yourself in exciting history. From 1655 to 1918, it was the residence of the Princes of Waldeck-Pyrmont and then the capital of the Free State of Waldeck until 1929.
