A perfect retreat for a couple looking for peace and quiet

This small holiday home, typically for Gotland, is located at a forest property with a view of the fields, belonging to an ecologically minded farmer, your landlord, who has his residential building behind a wall, made of stone, about 50 meters away. In front of the stone wall there is a grill and at a gravel path you will find seats whre you can really enjoy, for example, your breakfast in the rising sun.

You will live here in a so called "Eremitstuga" at a living space of 26 square meters. If you want to live in cramped conditions you can even place one of the folding beds here, when required, but it works best in this small house to accomodate only 2 persons.

In the surrounding there are a lot of walks/pathes but you can also take your bike with you to the holiday place. A visit to Visby with its circular wall, dating from the Middle Ages, and its ethnic town center is already nearly a must and should absolutely be a part of the excursion programme for the holidays. Or you can visit the famous church of Dalhem which is 15 kilometers away. By the way, here you will also find the only railway line of Gotland. But the mainland you will reach, nevertheless, only by ferry or by air.
