A stay on a boat comes with a few unique features. To ensure your stay goes exactly as you’d like, please note the following boat-specific details:

1. Our houseboat is offered as a moored vessel, so you CANNOT sail it. However, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the lake from the water during your stay—feel free to ask us about this at any time if you’re interested.

2. Our “feel-good” boat is, well, a boat—so it’s relatively small compared to a vacation apartment (external dimensions 8x3m, living space approx. 4x3m). It’s moored alongside other boats (ours and others’) in a harbor, so you don’t have a private dock all to yourself—that would be virtually unaffordable in Bad Saarow :)

3. On board, there’s a standard flush toilet as well as a small handheld shower on the landward side outside the boat. For added comfort, you can use the lockable harbor showers free of charge; they’re located about 100 meters from the boat.

4. Our boats were originally designed for sailing. To improve maneuverability, lightweight materials were used in their construction. Therefore, due to the resulting weight limits—for example, regarding the toilet and berths—we can only accommodate guests weighing up to 110 kg.

5. We provide bedding on board, but you’ll need to bring your own bed linens, sheets, and towels. Alternatively, you can rent bedding and sheets (but not towels) from us for a fee of €15.00 per person; please let us know in advance if you’d like this option.

6. If you have pet dander allergies or are traveling with a dog, please contact us immediately so that we can book you on a pet-free boat or a pet-friendly boat (for an additional fee), depending on availability.

7. Due to harbor regulations, we are only permitted to accommodate groups of up to 2 adults plus up to 2 children per travel group (even if spread across multiple boats). If you’d like to vacation with 3 or more adults, please contact us in advance by phone.

8. A boat trip brings you very close to nature—and its temperatures. We have two heaters on board, so no one has ever frozen to death on our boats. However, with nighttime temperatures in the single digits, those who are more sensitive to the cold would be wise to pack 1–2 pairs of thick socks and other cozy clothing in their suitcase, as the indoor climate—due to the lake—may take some getting used to at first.


Pets are allowed on this boat for a fee. If you suffer from pet dander allergies, please book one of our other boats.



There are plenty of accommodations BY the lake—but with us, you get accommodations ON the lake. The only way to get closer to the water is in your swimsuit! Welcome to your cozy little vacation apartment, where the rhythm of the waves will lull you to sleep. A beer garden, beach, thermal baths, spa, and numerous restaurants and activities are all within a short walking distance. Pets are welcome on specially designated boats (houseboats Annalena, Delfin, and Diva) by request only; a fee of 12.50 euros per pet per night applies.



Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
