Trysil is a wonderful vacation destination all year round. In summer, the town offers a golf course, a climbing park, an adventure park and perfect conditions for cycling. You don't have to travel far to find a wealth of activities. The Fulufjellet National Park and the family-friendly ski resort, Fulufjellet Alpinzentrum, are also not far away. On a hot summer's day, you can go swimming in Lake Gjet between Østby and Trysil. The river Ljøra, an Eldorado for anglers and an excellent place for canoeing, is also a wonderful place to swim. In winter you will find 69 slopes, 32 lifts, more snow parks and child-friendly areas.
