Early may in Morgex

Nice and welcoming house, kind and proactive owner. Unluckily we found this house in a hurry as a concequence of the cancellation of the previoulsy booked one in La Salle. The insurance I paid for the first house booked was not refunded yet.

Our host was great - very helpful & friendly. However, the property was difficult to find as it’s next to an industrial site and on a main road. We struggled to get our vehicle in & out of the driveway around the other businesses cars. The kitchen was well stocked and functioned well, bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable but road noise affected sleep for those in the front rooms. The house easily slept 7 but the hot water only lasted for a couple of showers. It was summer & hot and the flies were a problem - many windows/doors didnt have fly screens so cooling the house down also meant a fly invasion. This may not be an issue at other times of year. Internet did not work although the host did his best & brought in a new modem. We highlighted the issue re the hot water & still no internet to the host upon departure and believe he intends to fix both issues.
