The Steamboat House, Captain's Quarters-Bed & Breakfast Style Experience

Located in Natchitoches, this historic bed & breakfast offers a cozy retreat for guests. This 2nd floor space has its own private staircase to the kitchen, a luxurious full bath all to itself, and opens up to the upstairs balcony. Spacious and inviting, this room is fit for a captain (or four!).

Breakfast is included with your stay. We offer an assortment of fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and oatmeal with toppings galore! Coffee and juice are also available.

The innkeepers live on-site and are available to assist guests however they might need.

We have two resident pets on our property. Interaction with the resident pets is at the guests' discretion. The fur babies are not allowed in any of the guest quarters upstairs. If you would like to have some animal bonding time, the innkeeper is more than happy to arrange a petting session for you!

Our cat: Maycie Gray is 18 years old and spends most of her time dozing off curled up and comfy. She absolutely adores pets. Make sure to watch your step as you pass through common areas because Maycie is a tiny girl, but very curious and sociable.

Our dog: Abbie is our 6-year-old Boxer mix rescue. She is extremely gentle and quiet, but she also loves attention. Like Maycie, she spends most of her time curled up and dozing.
