The apartment has a total area of 76.84 square meters and features two large, bright living areas with stucco ceilings, a kitchen with a dining area, a living room with a sofa bed (160 x 200 cm) and a workspace, a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a sofa, and a shower/toilet with wheelchair-accessible facilities. The apartment is suitable for two to a maximum of four people and is accessible by elevator. It offers a beautiful view of the City Theater, the Knieper Gate, and St. Nicholas Church.



This modernly furnished, distinctive Art Nouveau building is located on the Old Town Island and on the Strelasund, surrounded by the newly renovated theater, the Kniepertor, and the medieval city wall.

The buildings at Olof-Palme-Platz 1 and 2 are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and were lovingly and meticulously renovated in 2006.

In just one minute, you’ll reach the Old Market—one of the most beautiful in the Baltic Sea region—or the waterfront, 200 meters further on, you’ll reach the harbor, where boats depart for Hiddensee or Altefähr and where the Ozeaneum is located. Just a few meters from the house are the boat rental at Knieperteich, the Schillanlage, and the Sundpromenade, which leads to the beach.

All apartments at Haus Palme 1 are accessible by elevator.

A large communal rooftop terrace is available to all guests of our building. From here, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the Stralsund Theater, the city wall, the Old Town, and the harbor.

A bicycle storage room is available in the courtyard for bicycles.

Parking is available subject to availability (1 parking space per apartment) for 6.00 euros per day.
Additional parking spaces are available in the nearby parking garages “Am Meeresmuseum” and “Am Hafen.”
With a prepaid parking ticket (parking meter/ticket shop/select days), you can leave the parking garage and re-enter as often as you like on the days you’ve paid for.

Paid EV charging stations for electric cars are available in the parking garages.

The Olof-Palme-Platz bus stop for lines 1, 4, and 60 (Night Express) is located right outside the door.



Arrival is possible from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
