A highlight of the region is the picturesque coastal town of Risør. Known for its charming white wooden houses and maritime flair, Risør offers an ideal mix of culture, nature and history. Stroll through the narrow streets, visit the galleries and enjoy fresh seafood in one of the cosy restaurants by the harbour. You can also visit the small zoo on Brokelandsøya or the famous Kristiansand Zoo. Both are easily accessible by car.
