The surroundings of Rochefort du Gard promise you many possibilities for an active holiday: explore the area on cycling and hiking trails, play tennis or golf, rent a boat and explore the surroundings from the water or visit the beautiful city of Avignon with its many sights. You will discover the beautiful Palais des Papes, but also the Rue des Teinturiers, the Place de l'Horloge and the famous Pont Saint-Bénézet bridge. Stroll through the market halls or take a walk to the Rocher des Doms, you will be amazed at the beauty of the surroundings. Nearby, explore Les Angles, an old mountain village dating back to the 14th century, characterised by its Gothic church and the Tour des Mascs. You can also stroll through Villeneuve, where an old abbey and the Fort Saint-André emphasise its medieval atmosphere.
