10 Steps From The Pool, Apt In Villa With Sea Views, Wi-fi, Heated Pool & Pkg
12 years ago, we had an inkling of an idea. We took a huge gamble and sold up in England and travelled to the sunniest spot we could find on mainland Europe - the Costa del Sol. We saw over 60 houses before we found our 'Villa Tranquilla'
Spent 8 months renovating, converting and kitting it out to provide 4 gorgeous, unique apartments. We live permanently in one (the largest naturally) and the 3 others are for clients looking for somewhere a little different - special to stay when visiting this lovely part of Spain. Our places may be a shade more costly than one of those endless condos in huge developments with (sometimes) screaming kids, but we think you will appreciate the difference. We provide a free concierge service as well as free parking; free internet; free use of our 450 - film dvd/vhs library; large lawned garden; a pool (only used by the 3 apts) that can be HEATED from Oct - April (currently @ 65e / apt / week which is optional).
Due to our hard work, we are one of the top-rated Estepona sites on a well-known holiday review site.
We are an easy walk (less than 15 mins) to 3 restaurants; a 5* hotel; a supermarket and the beach.
A 6 mins drive takes you to the buzzy fishing port and 4 mins more and you are in the beautiful, colourful, 500 year old town.
Like exploring? One reason we chose Estepona, besides it being very untouristy (a made-up word but you get the idea) is that it is a great pivotal location for those wishing to visit SEVILLE; GRANADA; RONDA; CADIZ; GIBRALTAR; CORDOBA; MALAGA; MARBELLA and even TARIFA in MOROCCO (take the ferry from Algeciras).
O.K. Told you everything except about the apartment.
This is the 'POOL' apartment. The main room comprises a living area with newly acquired 'L' shaped leather sofa (getting around to photographing it soon!), dining area with table & 4 chairs and a fully equipped kitchen including a 4-ring gas top and dishwasher. (There is a communal washing machine in the garage).
From the living area, there is a large sliding glass door to the covered terrace with a spectacular view over the garden, pool and ocean beyond.
The very large bedroom has a king-size bed that can be divided; writing desk; dressing table; 2 large double wardrobes (yes even big enough to fit all of madam's handbags & shoes); space for a fold-away bed if there are 3 of you (extra cost please enquire); sea view and door to shower room.
This comprises a screened shower; WC; bidet & basin.

About Neville & Lynne Stock
Lynne & I have been married forever, or just a bit longer. We brought up a son & daughter in England (Holland Park; Hampstead Garden Suburb; Esher & Guildford) and in 2000 I was getting fed up with my work (sales director of a security company) and was bought out by the other directors. We still needed income so decided to try a completely different lifestyle. The logic being that you only have one shot at life so make it interesting & worthwhile. The result was V.T. where we have lived/worked for the past 12 years. Our one main ethic in the preparation of our apartments is............... spotlessly clean and welcoming. Hence the top reviews and the like. Try a vacation here and we guarantee you will go home with a smile on your face.

We had some important boxes to tick. The most important were enough space within the villa to create apartments; quiet; easy parking; large garden; close to civilisation; an area that we felt safe and happy to live in and the two prime points, it HAD to have a good sea view and it needed the 'WOW' factor. It took us 60+ villas to go through, but we acheived a result. All boxes ticked !!!
What makes this Apartment unique
The first view of the villa was when we drove up Calle de la Luz for the first time with the agent. We hadn't seen any photos as it was 'quietly' on the market. As we drove, we saw the top of this huge mansion and we both thought...........'WOW it couldn't be that one, we just couldn't be that lucky...............' and it was. That for us sums up V.T.

Comfortable and relaxing
We spent a wonderful week at Villa Tranquilla. The apartment is bright, well equipped and spacious. The bed is really comfortable and I am sure the pool would have been lovely to use in summer time. The view on the Mediterranean sea is breathtaking. The apartment is located on ground level and just outside the door is a big secluded yard waiting for you to go and enjoy the outside, which is rare when you rent an apartment. The host was really informative about the town and the area in general. We really liked their dog Charlie who came to visit a few times.
The apartment is located outside of the centre of Estepona but yet close of everything like grocery store. A car is a must for this location.
We would definitively come back to this place and we highly recommend it.
Perfect base for day trips of southern Andalucía.
We live in the villa in a separate apartment and are happy to provide a concierge service recommending places to visit, great value restaurants and historic cities. We can suggest good beaches, where shops are for specific products and are happy to telephone and book restaurant tables, find opening times and use our limited Spanish to get answers to questions. We have lived here for 12 years and have produced, for our clients only, a list of 'Places to Go on the Costa Del Sol' as well as 'Where to Go and Eat' We have designed a 'Walk Around Estepona Old Town' 'Interesting Car Trip' 'Holiday & Touring Tips' 'The Nearest' (Nearest things like pharmacy, post office, bullring - you know, the essentials). We can put you in contact with a special tour guide who can spend 4-5 hours taking you around the city of Tangiers in Morocco. (Only about 20 kms separates Morocco from Spain.) We can tell you where to park for Gibraltar and get a guided tour; a great little hotel for a one-night stay if you really want to fully explore Ronda; the best way to see Sevilla if time is limited. We have been to Cordoba and seen the Mesquite; the Alhambra in Granada; the old part of Malaga, the Roman ruins near Tarifa and a whole lot more. Stay with us and we will assist in making your vacation truly memorable.
