"I've rented a lot of properties. This is one of my favorites." This review from a recent VRBO traveler sums up the experience you'll have in this charming 1940s cottage, located on a quiet cul-de-sac which is a stone's throw from Lenox center. The home comes fully equipped with queen-sized beds in two bedrooms, two twin beds in the third bedroom, two full bathrooms (one with a bath and shower, the 2nd with a shower), air conditioning, fireplace, sun room, living room, stocked kitchen, dining room, cable & internet, and an ample back yard. It's located less than a mile from Tanglewood, great hiking, Shakespeare & Company, and Lenox's main street. If the wind is blowing in the right direction, you can hear the Boston symphony rehearsing.

Why Robin Getzen chose Lenox
The Berkshires offers a rare combination of striking natural beauty and a cultural richness, with Tanglewood, theatre, and museums. The cottage on Nielsen is also a rare combination of 1940s charm and 21st century amenities.
What makes this Cottage unique
We are 5 minutes from Tanglewood and the center of Lenox, and yet we're on a cul-de-sac. There's little to no through traffic, and it's peaceful and quiet.

A Slice of Heaven 2 Years in a Row!!!
This was my second stay at this beautiful and peaceful Lenox Cottage!! Everything about it is perfect. Robin adds little touches that make it so welcoming and comfortable it is hard to leave. There was a lovely welcome basket with wine and cheese and the refrigerator was stocked with coffee, cream and eggs so our first breakfast was ready to cook. Several hours each morning were spent reading on the sun porch or outside on the charming new patio!! I can't wait until next year!!!!!
Charming.Comfortable .Great location .
Older Cottage. Charming.
2 separate bathrooms onenot on bedroom level is inconvenient for guests.
Wonderful, relaxing stay in a great location for Tanglewood and the Lenox town
We had great time at the Lenox cottage over a long weekend. The location is great - less than 5 minutes to Tanglewood and walking distance to the town center. Robin is very responsive and made us feel at home with a cute welcome basket, eggs, cheese, and wine so we didn't have to run out as soon as we got there. The upstairs worked well for the families with 2 bedrooms and 1 kids bedroom (2 twin beds) and a bathroom (we had 2 couples and 2 young kids and a dog). Downstairs and the outdoor area in the back were great for us to relax and let the kids run! The kitchen and pantry were all stocked with all the basics and seasonings you often forget you need so we were able to cook a lot of the time. We'd definitely come back again!
A charming well-equipped cottage
Our home away from home
My family and I have stayed at this dear place twice..loved every minute. We spent the holidays here last year and again this year. Cottage is truly delightful...has all the comforts of home and more. Such a relaxing and inviting atmosphere...fabulous fireplace and good books....I would highly recommend it and plan to return. Very private and convenient to little village of Lenox...it's just a short walk and it's a great little town with lots of great shops and fine dining options.
A little slice of heaven
The Berkshires have always been a magical place for me. I have stayed at several B&Bs and rented several houses over the years. This lovely cottage was the nicest place I have rented and made my vacation perfect. It is in a great location; close to town, but still quite and peaceful. It is perfect for a group of friends. There are 3 lovely bedrooms on the second floor and one bathroom on the first floor and one on the second floor. The sun room is a beautiful place to read and relax in the mornings. The owner, Robin, was incredibly easy to work and communicate with. The house was immaculate. There were even fresh flowers on the table and the refrigerator was stocked with eggs, OJ and coffee for our first breakfast. I plan to be back next year. If you want your little slice of heaven in the Berkshires, this is the place to be.
