Vacation home "Ferien am Waldrand" - Cozy vacation apartment 70sqm at the edge of the forest

The house is located in the Bärenfels area. Right next to the property, you have access to an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country ski trails. Our property borders the forest, offering ideal opportunities for relaxation. It is directly accessible by public transport from Dresden via bus lines 360/367.
By car, the holiday home can be reached via the B170 and then Böhmische Straße in Bärenfels. There is ample parking available on the property.
The surrounding area features many recreational facilities, such as ski lifts in Schellerhau, Altenberg, Geising, and Rehefeld, as well as in the Czech Republic; a spa and sauna complex in Altenberg; water parks with saunas in Paulsdorf and Freital; ice rinks in Geising and Freital; a summer toboggan run in Altenberg; and the Weißeritztalbahn railway. Why not hike up the highest mountain in the Eastern Ore Mountains, the Kahleberg? Or take a short walk around the Spitzberg. When there’s enough snow, you have direct access from the property to the Eastern Ore Mountains cross-country skiing area, featuring many kilometres of groomed trails



Cosy 70-square-meter holiday apartment on the edge of the forest:

Our holiday home offers approximately 70 square metres of living space and a property spanning over 900 square metres, located directly on the edge of the forest. The ground floor features the living/dining room, the kitchen, and the bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms—one with two beds and one with four—and the bathroom.
The 28-square-meter living room features a dining area with a TV and seating area. From here, you also have a beautiful view. Here, you can comfortably wind down after an interesting day of holiday.
Smoking is not permitted in our holiday home.
The modern kitchen is equipped with a glass-ceramic stove with oven, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a microwave, a toaster, and a dishwasher, as well as a washer-dryer combo.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed. A second bedroom has two single beds. One set of bed linens and one set of towels per person are included in the price. For our youngest guests, a travel cot, a playpen, and a high chair are available.



On-site fees: A 15% deposit may be charged after booking. Payment is due in cash upon arrival or in advance via bank transfer. Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are available by arrangement. Keys are handed over on site. The tourist tax for the town of Altenberg is 2.10 EUR per person per day; the reduced rate is 1.60 EUR per person per day. It must be paid on-site or transferred before arrival. For more details, please refer to the City of Altenberg’s guest tax regulations or feel free to contact us. A fee of 8.00 euros per night for a pet is payable on-site or in advance via bank transfer. A cot, playpen, and high chair are available free of charge upon request. Final cleaning, towels, bed linens, a washing machine/dryer, and parking are included in the total price.



Check-in is from 3:00 to 20:00, and check-out is from 07:00 to 10:00.
