Pelican Landing is a beautifully furnished townhouse with single garage near the Peninsula Golf Course -- an easy walk to the beach or a short drive to downtown. The atmosphere of this home is relaxed, with a touch of elegance, set amid the dunes and the beach pines, within walking distance to the beach or the Peninsula Golf Course.
Pelican Landing features a ground floor master suite with an elegant four-poster queen bed, gas fireplace, TV and its own private deck. The ensuite bath is large and has tub/shower. The main level also has the kitchen and living room, powder room, laundry and garage. For evenings or rainy days there’s cable TV with VCR/DVD and stereo in the living room, as well as a gas fireplace. There’s a hide-a-bed in the living room too. The kitchen is bright and well-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. There’s a full-size range and fridge and a dishwasher. Upstairs there’s a second full bath and two more bedrooms – one with a queen bed and one with twin trundle beds. For your comfort, Pelican Landing is no smoking and no pets please.
Besides 2 golf courses, there’s great shopping and a variety of restaurants close by in the downtown core, plus lots of things for the kids to do – arcades, carnival rides, miniature golf and more. The Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve. Long Beach and Seaview feature a variety of eateries from casual family restaurants to upscale restaurants and cafes. After dinner you can walk the boardwalk to enjoy one of our colorful sunsets too.
There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July and the Blues and Seafood Festival in August. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon.
On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters or pastries and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. Or try the course at the Surfside Golf Course north of Ocean Park. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay. Make sure you stop in historic Oysterville to see the wonderful old church there too.
Pelican Landing is a beautiful home to visit while you relax, spend time with friends and family, explore our beaches and all that the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer!
